Here’s an image of how Hazel truly acts in private. This was a screenshot taken a few hours later after the initial version of this document.
Originally I wrote this doc to focus on the “there’s always tomorrow” post, however Hazel has shown to be much worse than that. I think it's frankly disgusting that someone who pretends to act cute on the internet is also very blatantly racist.
Hazel is not black, she is Thai. I have known her for years and even seen her face; she was never black or even mixed. Over the years Hazel has proven themselves to be an awful person in private and that is no different now. She lies about the type of person she is. She says that she had been “going through a rough couple of weeks”. She says that she has changed. But her mindset now is no different than how she acts in the Miscellaneous sections of the doc.
Instead of trying to prove she’s changed, she guilts people with it. Again.
Every one of these claims are just means for manipulation. They’re excuses she makes so that she can manipulate further. She uses them to victimize herself while knowing what she is doing is wrong.
Hazel Appleby is violent, insensitive, and manipulates people into thinking otherwise. She has guilt-tripped, threatened suicide, and faked medical issues to get her way. She appeals to emotion in a way that is hard to call out or notice. Please go through the doc with this knowledge.

Background
Me and my friend group have had a long history with Hazel Appelby, knowing them as a very manipulative person. There are multiple examples of her guilt tripping, suicide-baiting, and doing weird shit over the 3 to 4 years I’ve known her.
Here’s an example of her suicide-baiting for having no one respond to her in a discord call for a while. We were away from the computer for thirty minutes to do things in real life. I had a piano lesson and the other person on call had to do the dishes. No one expected her to do this or say anything like this. She then left a very nasty message in my DMs calling me a “murderer” and then cut contact with us. She returned almost a month later on 5/28/2023.
Although at this point in time she had made similar threats a few times before (none of which she actually had proof of going through with) it was still stressful for everyone involved. With her cutting contact, there was a possibility that Hazel’s suicide was on our hands, or atleast that we hurt her to act in such a way. It was hard not to feel guilty over this, and even harder to call out how weird this behavior was. Again, all of this happened over a discord call of all things, and after 2 years of hindsight it was clearly an attempt to guilt trip and emotionally manipulate people.
As the final nail in the coffin to who Hazel truly is, she’s admitted to doing all of this to get a kick out of it.
Hazel, in the past, has admitted to, and shown signs being a massive narcissist, oftentimes doing violent things and shocking things like this for attention. Everything shown here are simply just attempts to gain that attention while simultaneously making it harder and harder for people to call out anything about her. I am writing this doc to explain how what Hazel posted on March 29th is yet another example of her trying to guilt and victimize herself, with the hopes that those currently uninformed (probably a lot) won’t be tricked or hurt due to her actions.
Section 1: Hazel’s Sister
I want to call attention to a very similar incident that happened in 2024, after the aforementioned incident happened one where Hazel likely faked having a heart attack. On 10/8/2024, I had been messaging Hazel over something unrelated until she suddenly replied “I think I’m gonna have a heart attack”. She told me that she was in the bathroom as this was happening.
18 minutes after that initial message was sent, and 10 minutes after Hazel had stopped responding, her sister, who went by the name “Lavandula” online, supposedly went to the bathroom, picked up her phone, unlocked her phone, opened Discord… and started messaging me about it???
Hazel stopped sending messages on her main for 9 days, later returning on 10/17/2024. Her sister, on her own account now, told me she was in a coma. In the meantime, her sister became very active on her own account, giving people updates about her sister’s recovery.
I began getting messages from another friend of Hazel (who will be kept anonymous) about what was happening. The information most likely came from the “lavandula” account. Here’s a report from them:
Why would Hazel’s sister immediately go on her sister’s Discord after finding her collapsed in the bathroom? Why would Hazel mutter one of her Discord friends’ usernames upon waking up? I think it’s fair to say that the actions of “Lavandula” as Hazel’s sister are generally unrealistic, along with the story she’s telling through the account.
The “lavandula” account and messages themselves are suspicious at the very least. It is important to note that “lavandula” has not messaged me or changed their profile at all since this incident. She has no bio, or any other socials. The account had not been this active online or talking to this many people until Hazel had supposedly gone into a coma.
Her sister was also apparently reading through and commenting on Hazel’s group chats and asked to be anonymous when giving info.
Hazel has also never brought this up again. Recently I tried to DM her about whether or not any of this actually happened and was met with no response.
There are also other, older incidents similar to this, one where she tried lying about having her IRL friends be on the account (after a very violent crashout in an FNF modding dev server), and another where she pretended to be her brother.
While just generally being suspicious, knowing about the “Lavandula” account and its earlier incident is important since it is relevant to the current event. Which I’m going to talk about now.
Section 2: The Post
On 3/29/2026, Hazel tweeted a drawing of her OC on a hospital bed with the text “there’s always tomorrow”. Later, she QRTs the same post saying “if this is my last post, thank you for everything if it won't be, i'll let you guys know”. She also announced this in her public server server, “Hazel Land”.
To both her Twitter following and her friend server, she is of course implying that her life may be at risk in some way. However…
JerryLately is Hazel’s Minecraft account name and an old username she used to go by.
…she was also found just playing Minecraft in voice chat on the same day in her private friend group server. Later, on April 2nd, her friends started talking about how she was under “strict family surveying” in Hazel Land as well.
If this story were true, this paints a pretty horrible picture. Something happened to Hazel that caused her parents to step in. Calcium is saying that she’d be unable to use the internet for a while, so Hazel’s fate is unknown until then.
Hazel’s fate is that she talks on her friend group server not even 24 hours later.

She also joins a voice chat and plays Team Fortress 2 despite having “restricted internet access”. Also notice how Flounder says that they know all of these things from “information given to us from a family member:
So, Hazel is doing the same trick again 2 years later. During a crisis “Lavandula”, or maybe a new family member shows up and tells people about her sister’s situation when she isn’t in a position to do so. Hazel immediately hopping on TF2 this time around makes it obvious that both Hazel’s supposed heart attack, and whatever’s going on currently are just stories to stir up conversation about her. It ensures that she gets the attention she wants. Both times she lies about her current situation restricting her and has a “family member” talk to everyone else instead.
And both times, it worked. Over the 9 days she was in her “coma” I was incredibly worried for her. During this time we were especially close, and I had been stressed IRL over it. Pretty much everyone who knew Hazel felt the same way, planning to make art for him when he woke up.
The “there’s always tomorrow” post had many people worrying about Hazel’s safety, and her announcement in the Discord left many people writing heartfelt messages for her.
But none of it is true. And she doesn’t even actually stay off the internet this time.
Section 3: Miscellaneous
To be honest, this document doesn’t scratch the surface of the things that JazzySchmazzy (a.k.a. Hazel Appleby) has done. There are some things I touched on lightly earlier in the doc that were kept light for the sake of relevancy, such as the very violent crashout in an FNF modding dev server and previous suicide-bait incidents. I’m going to elaborate on those here.
Previous Aliases
Before that, here is a list of previous aliases that Hazel used to go by.

She has admitted on multiple occasions that the name changes were due to her changing/deleting accounts and running away.
Barnacle Funkin’ Crashout
Hazel, under the alias DannyWanker, suddenly starts ranting in the Barnacle Funkin’ Dev Server on 12/24/2022. She used to be an artist and animator for it but was kicked out due to this incident.
Here we get another clear example of Hazel admitting her attention-seeking and narcissistic mindset. The basis of this whole incident is that she wants attention, whether good or bad, and starts saying some crazy shit in order for people to notice her. She gets violent and mentions CP.

Eventually it gets violent. At some point she starts singling people out with the threats, including the director (who is the person with the purple title and the cat pfp), but I think those messages are deleted now.
Hazel is talking about a CP dealer. She gets kicked.
Mentions of Previous Suicide-Baiting
There were two “Dans” in the Barnacle Funkin’ server. I don’t recall the other Dan ever doing anything to warrant this.

There are too many examples of her doing this to count, but if that’s needed I will include it in a more comprehensive doc on Hazel Appleby’s history. Again, this only scratches the surface and is meant to keep things relevant to her post on March 29th.

Conclusion
Hazel Appleby is not in a hospital bed in contrast to what she has currently posted on Twitter. Hazel Appleby is also a person who lies and makes fake announcements to garner attention from people. She uses alt accounts like “lavandula” to keep the story straight and lies to her close friends as well. There are also more egregious examples of her manipulative and grim attention-seeking behavior in the past. I will end this doc by saying that Hazel Appleby never acted the way they do on their account until incredibly recently. I find it very concerning that Hazel has put on this “cute and innocent” persona when, in the past, they have been anything but. It is not a good personality to fake for someone who has admitted to being, “a sick twisted sociopath”.
Because of this and the reasons prior, I want to make sure that anyone who interacts with Hazel in the future is aware of the way they act.
