We are very pleased that you will spend a few days in our Green Home!
Below is some info about the Green Home and what you can do in Kirchberg and its beautiful surrounding.

Front door                                                                                                

NEW: The front door locks automatically, always approx. 3 seconds after the door is closed. You will receive the pin for opening from the outside before your arrival! (keypad is to the right of the doorbell) If you want to open from the inside, just press the round silver button!

Getting around

The center is just 5 minutes on foot. Just walk down the street and cross the railway underpass - already you're there.  If you want to go direction Gaisberg/Maierl/Aschau, wait at the bus station "Kalswirt". For direction Fleckalm/Kitzbühel, go to the bus station"Kirchberg Ort". With a ski pass you can use the buses to all ski lifts for free! Bus plans: goo.gl/VFL0lS

Technical stuff

Internet: The network is called "greenhome", Wi-Fi password is "Homegreen1!!"

Stereo: Besides CDs and radio, you can also play music from mp3 player (USB) or your phone. Put your device simply, or connect wirelessly via Bluetooth.

TV:  You can (in addition to the normal satellite channels) also use the internet, or watch thousands of movies, series and documentaries on Netflix in up to 4K resolution all for free! (in English, German,...)

Washing: If you wash or dry your clothes - washing machine and dryer are located in the Dry room to the right of the front door. (Quick Guide on page 2)
You can turn on and regulate the electric fireplace simply by using the remote control.

Quick guide (Washing machine, TV, Electric fireplace, Oven, Garbage, Heating, ...)

| Key Lock |

Upon departure, the key can be deposited in the key safe (outside, to the right of the main entrance).  You already have the code, if you don’t, just ask. Pull the whole box to open.

| Stove |  

Turn on (1) and set the heat (3) The key lock (2) is a child safety lock. If it is active, the "L" symbol will show (Lock)The symbol "H" might show even after switching it of, that is merely an indication that the particular plate is still Hot. “H” disappears when it cools off. Cleaning only when plates are cool!

| Dishwasher |  

1. Turn on dishwasher 2. Select a program. Recommended: ECO 50. When finished, the device switches off automatically, it helps if you let it cool off a bit so there isn’t going to be so much steam. You can see that the program has completed through the tiny slot (yes, it's not ideal, bad design) If the display shows 0:00,  dishes are done :)

| Electric fireplace |

The electric fireplace should be only turned on and off via the remote control. It is all-electric, so there is nothing to be burned!

If no “flames” are visible, the water tank is probably empty. Then please refill with distilled water only!

Turn off, open drawer, remove blue water tank, fill with distilled water and put it back to the station with the cover closed. Close drawer, turn on.

| Room heaters |

The floor heating can be regulated separately in the bedroom, in the bathroom and in the living area. Automatic heating is always active between 7am and 11pm.

| Washing machine |

1. Switch on the washing machine 2. Set program (we recommend "Buntwäsche Eco") and 3. press the start button.

| Dryer |

Set the dryer (we recommend"Mix")and press the start button. Pull hard to open the dryer door! Please tilt the window during usage and empty condensed water (upper left corner) and filter (below the drum) after every use.

| Shoe Dryer |

You have read right! There is even a shoe dryer, which allows you to quickly dry your wet (ski-) shoes. Simply put your shoes over the bars, use the dial to the right to set the timer, and wait a few minutes!

| Blinds |

The blinds can be adjusted above and below. Please only adjust using the handle in the middle.

| Garbage Recycling |

Please recycle the garbage: Next to the terrace door is the recycling bins for glass, metal, plastic and paper. Residual waste and compost is located under the sink.

| TV |

With the regular remote control you can watch TV and Network (Youtube, etc ...)  Use the other remote control (marked as "NETFLIX only" on the back) to access thousands of movies and series and documentaries. If you have movies on a hard disk, you can attach it directly to the TV via USB on the backside.

| Stereo |

In addition to radio and CDs, also USB stick, MP3 player or iPhone music can be played via the stereo. Simply select your preferred source via the remote (BT Audio = Bluetooth)

⚠️Hinweis: Magenta TV kann sich manchmal ausloggen, wenn man im Menü navigiert, anstatt regulär zwischen den Kanälen zu wechseln. In diesem Fall, und auch wenn sich Netflix ausloggen sollte, bitte am besten ein WhatsApp an Nina (+43 650 9993113).

| Cooking island light switch |

The light above the kitchen island can be dimmed to your preferred brightness. To dim, just press and hold the switch.

Eating and drinking

Winter - our tips!

We recommend: tobogganing and night skiing under the lights at the Gaisberg & Daily illuminated toboggan run until 23:30, night skiing on Thursday and Friday 18:30 to 21:30.

At Intersport (Ski Lift Fleckalm Valley station) there are lockers, where you can store 2x skis, skishoes, helmets and Sticks for 8,- per day.

Summer - our tips

Swimming: There are many opportunities in the area, including local swimming lake & outdoor pools (Seestrasse 50) Schwarzsee near Kitzbühel, and- our tip: Gieringer Weiher (waldbad.me +43 535663955)

Mountain biking / bike hire:  You can rent bicycles for example at the "Winter Shop" in Kirchberg +43 664 9597970 The best routes can be found on: maps.kitzalps.com
