Journey Cover Collab Information

Hello everyone, I am working on a large-scale vocal synth chorus collab for the song Journey by DECO*27 with over 100 vocalists. If you would like to contribute to this project by creating vocals, please read the following thoroughly:

Rules and Guidelines

  • As of now, only one part per person
  • The project files will be in a .ust format. If you need it in a different format, use https://sdercolin.github.io/utaformatix3/
  • Let me know if you have any issues converting/using your project file.
  • You are free to change the octave of the provided UST if it suits your singer better. However, DO NOT CHANGE THE KEY
  • You are not allowed to change any of the lyrics or notes unless it's something minor (such as adding rest notes, breaths or minor phonetic modifications) without approval. If there are any errors in the UST, please let me know immediately.
  • You are free to use any vocal synth you'd like including but not limited to Vocaloid, UTAU, SynthesizerV, CeVIO, DeepVocal, etc. as long as the voicebank you are using can sing in Japanese.
  • No overlapping singers are allowed. Singers are first come, first serve so you cannot use a singer that anyone else before you has already claimed. When you sign up, please ensure that you are using a voicebank that no one else is using.
  • The same singer on different engines cannot be used within this project (for example, if someone is using SynthV Kasane Teto, no one can use UTAU Kasane Teto either)
  • Using your own self-made voicebank is allowed and encouraged
  • Don't mix your audio.

  • Due to the scale of this project, you are very much encouraged to share this project with your friends for them to join as well

How to Sign Up

  • Go to the following spreadsheet and fill out one of the rows with your information: Journey Collab Sign-Up You are required to fill out all of the columns that have a red title when you sign up.
  • You can choose any group as long as spots for that group are open.
  • Failure to fill out your row on the spreadsheet sufficiently will result in the space being cleared for anyone else to take.
  • If this happens to you, you may sign up again as long as there are spaces open and you fill out the row properly.
  • You have exactly 30 days from when you signed up to finish and submit your tuned files. If you miss this deadline, your row will be cleared.
  • After you’ve filled out your row on the spreadsheet, go to this link and find the UST for your group: Journey Cover Collab Project Files
  • When you are done, upload your tuned .wav file(s) to a file sharing site such as Google Drive and link it on your row under the column that says Link to Finished Project Files.
  • Please make sure that I will be able to access your files.
