CARE - COURAGE - RESPECT - RESPONSIBILITY
NEWSLETTER 8 4th November 2016
From the Headteacher
I hope that you were all able to have some rest and relaxation over the half term break, we have a busy half term ahead as we move towards Christmas.
The weather has now turned dark and is more wintery, can you please make sure that your child comes to school with a warm/waterproof coat and a hat and gloves if appropriate.
Year 6 - Christmas Gift & Craft Fair
This year we would like the Year 6 children to run a stall at the Christmas Craft Fair selling second-hand books along with Christmas Craft makes. Funds raised will go towards playground developments.
Ideally we need at least 2 children for each of the times below:
The children will be supervised throughout the day so that parents are free to help set up, put away, help on a stall or look around.
Please see the permission letter here… and return it to School by Friday 11th November.

Notices and Letters
Village Hall Parking
Please ensure that you park considerately when dropping off/collecting your child, there have been several incidences of cars parking along the hedge on the left hand side of the car park which further reduces access and causes additional congestion. This becomes more of a hazard with the days getting shorter and your co-operation would be greatly appreciated.
There has been a reported case of head lice in School, please could we ask that you check your child's hair regularly and treat as necessary should you find any head lice in their hair.
It is really important that any child with head lice is treated immediately to avoid spreading throughout the class/school
The current lunch menu can be found on the school website here...
