This Unit We Will… Math: This week we begin our long division unit. This unit will continue after fall break. Our end goal is to divide a 4 digit number by a two digit number. (Module 2)  ELA: This week we enjoyed viewing a Nez Perce storyteller tell the legend of The Coyote and The Monster and completed a story map about this legend analyzing characters, setting, problem and solution.  We also independently wrote an informative paragraph containing a topic sentence, key details and a conclusion based on our small group readings from last week. Science: Students are learning about the difference between inherited and learned traits. Social Studies:   We completed our Nimiipuu presentations. Students created posters, Piskel animations, and Google Slideshows to present what they learned about Nimiipuu life and culture. | |
