Sleeth Gallery presents: Shootapalooza

BUCKHANNON, WV— November 5 – December 5, 2013—The Sleeth Gallery is excited to announce Shootapalooza: Photography by Andy Bloxham. The opening reception will be held on November 14, from 4:30 – 6:00pm, and there will be an artist talk following the reception at 6:00pm. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 12:00 – 5:00pm, or by appointment, and is located on the first floor of McCuskey Hall at West Virginia Wesleyan College, at the intersection of East Main Street and College Avenue in Buckhannon, WV. Admission is free.
Bloxham's exhibition is a sequel to works produced during a North American road trip in 2010. The works on display were produced following a six-week, twelve-thousand mile road trip in May and June of 2013.
Andy Bloxham grew up in Louisiana. He received a BA in psychology and MFA in photography from Louisiana Tech University. His work has been featured in galleries, print publications, television, and online media worldwide. Bloxham is an Assistant Professor of art at West Virginia Wesleyan, faculty at the Maine Media Workshops, and a frequent visiting artist to colleges, galleries, and universities.
