SINoALICE Debt Crisis: How to pay back what you owe

Wasn't the Drakengard 3 rerun event fun? But after maintenance, some of us found ourselves saddled with debt:

This emergency guide will help you clear as much of the debt (gems in particular) as soon as possible. After all, none of us would want to use our precious GranColo payout for this.

How do I know if I’m affected?

From the homescreen, tap the menu (gears) icon and then tap the  ‘お知らせ’ button on the top left hand corner. If you see an additional ‘【重要】多种に获得できてしますたアイテムの回收について’, it means that PokeLabo sent in too many rewards to your inbox and now you owe them something. If you don’t see it, on the other hand, good for you!  

For those unlucky enough to be saddled with debt, they’ll list down what they gave you too much of and that’s what you need to pay them back.

So, I got affected. How do I pay them back?

1. Gems

Most of the debt will come from the Gems. For some reason they gave us dupe rewards, especially from guild reward milestones. The ones who farmed less/waited until a certain amount of time to collect the rewards had lesser debt while those who collected the rewards immediately got more. Fortunately (or unfortunately for those waiting for the Code Geass collab), the two events going on currently are capable of lessening the blow. Note that all gem rewards that you’ll need to access the present box for are the ones that’ll go into clearing that pesky debt.

Bookcase and Red (Red Riding Hood/Minstrel) - clear all the stage missions for the 1st time and clear the calendar to get gems.

Prison Event - Certain milestones while completing missions related to this event will grant gems. Additionally, get 100 prison event medals and exchange them for 300 gems to pay it off.

Additionally, currently there’s a colosseum attendance campaign going on in light of the 20th Grand Colosseum: The more guild members joining, the more gems you get as a reward. So get your guildies together and kick some colo ass, especially the ones who have the most debt to pay! In addition, clearing the colosseum attendance calendar for 25 days also helps in more ways than one.

Clearing milestones and daily rewards will contribute to clearing your debt as the rewards will go into the present box first. While milestones take some time, you can go get your dailies (10 gems per day + 1 cleaning ticket) first. Raiding is also important - clear the calendar as much as possible to earn gems (and some cores along the way). If you have 1000 charm medals/1500 betting medals from last month’s Grand Colosseum and you have yet to claim your monthly 300 gems, now’s the time to do so.

Event and main story gems do not count towards your debt.

Note to whales: Paid gems also do not count towards gem debt. It’s not that easy.

2. Skill Orbs, Dragon Shackles and Bird Masks

Compared to gems, which might take some time, getting skill orbs and important evo mats. can get a bit tricky. Fortunately there are ways to clear them faster:

Medal Shop: Exchange Charm/Prison/Desire/leftover Intoner medals for whichever materials you need - they count.

Bookcase and Red: Some of the rewards for clearing the Calendar will contribute to this particular line of debt.

Prison Event: Either Prison Medal Exchange or Missions.

Nightmare Mines: Send your Nightmares down the mines and hope for the best - Dragon Shackles can be in either Impulse or Hatred mines while Bird Masks can be found in Hatred mines. However, the chances of getting either of them are rare.

Leftover Drakengard 3 collab event ‘Harmonic Interference’ shooting gacha tickets - shoot your leftovers and hope for the best, especially SS skill orbs.

Leftover Guild Raid medals - … how did you have leftover Guild Raid medals? Well, never mind that. If you owe the Library Debt Office S skill orbs, they cost 5 Guild Raid medals. SS skill orbs cost 15. Get what you need and they should count after collecting them from the present box. (note: be warned that Guild Raids do not come often - as such, please be careful when using the one from the Gretel/Envy Serpent Half-Nightmare beta raid!)

This is taking so long! How do I know if I’m done?

One sign you’ve cleared your gem debt is when the gem count increases when you collect gems from the present box (the 100 apologems don’t count towards debt). But to be sure, go to the menu and tap the ‘お知らせ’ button on the top left hand corner. If the  ‘【重要】多种に获得できてしますたアイテムの回收について’ notif is gone, congrats! You’ve cleared your debt! If it’s still there, however, you still owe them something.

Well? What are you waiting for? Hurry and get that debt paid and over with!

(update: Try not to collect your gems in bulk - something wonky’s going on. For now, collect one by one.)
