Content Warning: Abuse, Self-Harm, Manipulation, Toxic Relationships
To be blunt, many events are misrepresented or altered in Mazy’s document, and the allegations present are downright false. We have significant reason to believe there was no abuse toward Mazy during Allrich and hers relationship.
Although us (and probably many others) would prefer Allrich to be writing/making this statement himself, he’s made the choice to remain offline for the time being. This document is being written collectively by many of the Eclipse/Dysfunctionals groups. We’re using the information we have, Allrich’s side of what happened on the night she describes, and Mazy’s previous statements to us regarding that night.
Despite Allrich not being able to make a statement himself, we’re sure we have enough information to both disprove Mazy’s false allegations and give important context to situations she describes. We hope you consider these facts and come to your own conclusions. First, let’s talk about the abuse allegations.
On November 6th, 2024, Blank offered Mazy a place at his home, as she seemed extremely distressed. She accepted. That night, her, Soap, and Blank were on a call in which she detailed her breakup with Allrich. There was never a mention of any harm he did to her, and she specified that he had locked himself in the bathroom while self-harming in place of guiding him to the shower, giving him no opportunity to have hit her, directly contrary to her recent statements.
When she shared with dozens of our friends the message on Page 6 of her document, describing very different events from that night, we were shocked as it was never something she had disclosed with any of us, besides Mid, which only happened a few days prior. We immediately asked Allrich for his side of the story, and he stated exactly what Mazy had said to Soap and Blank back in November: that he had locked himself in the bathroom, and that there would have been no way for him to have harmed her.
Self-harm can be a form of abuse, but only if it’s used as a form of extortion, manipulating the partner into feeling powerless. Judging by Allrich’s side of the story matching up perfectly with her initial account of the night less than a day after it happened, we have reason to believe no such harm occurred. It was no secret to the group that Allrich has struggled with mental health issues. While the relationship was unhealthy, in no way was it abusive.
About two weeks after Mazy’s breakup with Allrich, members of our group began hearing that she had moved in with another guy, and two weeks after that, she began posting him on Instagram. It was not hidden to us that she and him were together, and due to the close proximity to her breakup with Allrich, it didn’t sit well with many of us.
While planning the Eclipse VidCon house, Mazy mentioned that she had a friend who was also planning on going to VidCon (this turned out to be her new boyfriend). Many of us were uncomfortable with a complete stranger staying in our AirBnB (see right image) and expressed that we did not want him staying with us.
Soon after this, he was invited to two of our private Discord servers, one for VidCon planning and the other for our core friend group. There was an abundance of personal information present in these servers including phone numbers, addresses, full names, etc. To have a complete stranger (to everyone but Mazy) suddenly gain access to it all was a huge invasion of privacy, so he was promptly removed from these servers.
Mazy took offense to this, and a two hour back-and-forth argument ensued. We later learned that at one point, Mazy’s new boyfriend took the computer from her and started typing for her. We also learned from Mazy that he started getting violent and throwing things (similar to what was alleged about Allrich).
Many of these messages with Blank were deleted by Mazy, but we have screenshots of a similar conversation she had with JHorse, as you can see.
In a conversation with Mid, she shares this same information and claims she is deciding to break up with him; however, she later decides to stay with him.
Four months later, the group is packing for our trip, and as Mazy alleges, we ‘spring’ on her that Allrich is now coming to VidCon, despite us telling her he wouldn’t be. In truth, we had no idea Allrich was coming to VidCon. The first members of our group heard the day before the trip, and the majority of us learned the day he arrived. He had begun talking to the group again some time around early May (after a long period of radio silence) and wanted to surprise us by coming to VidCon last-minute. What we told Mazy in February was true based on the information we had at the time. No one was trying to blindside her.
As shown in Mazy’s document, Allrich wanted nothing to do with Mazy. He expressed his desire to ignore her and enjoy his trip as much as he could. Mazy told us she shared that sentiment, and we assumed this drama was nothing more than two ex’s not wanting to be around each other (no talk of abuse had occurred yet).
Our group made many accommodations to make the trip more comfortable for Mazy. Soap, the organizer of the Eclipse AirBnB, made it very clear that if at any point Mazy was uncomfortable with Allrich being at our house, she could say so and Soap would kick him out. Mazy told her she did not want to do this. While at the Eclipse AirBnB, Mazy would spend a lot of time in her bedroom; Soap would visit her and ask if she wanted to hang out. She often refused. Soap and Mazy also exchanged locations for the duration of the trip as a precaution for when Soap was with Allrich. We then learned that her new boyfriend would be picking her up. Blank suggested going to Downtown Disney with her (without Allrich). She again refused. The day Allrich arrived, a member of the Eclipse AirBnB coordinated with both her and Allrich to ensure they wouldn’t see each other at any point during the day. There were many other things our group did to try to accommodate Mazy, and there was only one major failure on our part in that regard.
Downtown Disney
On the day Allrich showed up, Mazy asked in a Discord if anyone wanted to go to Downtown Disney. Two members of our group saw this message and came up with the idea for us to go there without her. We did end up going to Downtown Disney, but the majority of our group had no idea Mazy had asked to go, or that we were going without her on purpose. It was the decision of one or two members to go without her.
When we did find out Mazy had asked to go, many of us felt bad about it and even expressed anger at the members in question for purposefully excluding her. Later that night, Mazy had a conversation with Jet at the Dysfunctional house:
“I was told by one of my friends who was at the house that they felt incredibly bad for how everyone was treating me, and informed me that the downtown disney trip without me (mentioned previously) was done on purpose to get back at me, or make me upset in some way.”
This was Jet’s way of apologizing for the Downtown Disney thing. We had no idea she had asked to go, and many members of our group genuinely felt bad about going without her. We talked to the two members responsible for it during the trip, as well as before writing this document, to make sure they knew it was rude to go without her on purpose. But again: the majority of our group had no idea any of this was happening, and this was our ONLY major failure when it came to accommodating you during our trip.
The day after this happened, Mazy informed us she would be leaving the Eclipse house and staying with her new boyfriend, who was coming here to pick her up.
After Mazy was picked up by her boyfriend and relocated to a hotel, contact was still kept to ensure the two would not cross paths with Allrich. However, these efforts were entirely voided when the two parked their car outside of the Dysfunctionals AirBnB to go to Downtown Disney. At the time, this was the house Allrich was actively spending the most time at. The car was discovered after recognizing Mazy’s home state license plate, as well as a text message sent to Jet regarding parking permissions for their street. JHorse waited outside of the home to ensure the couple would get in the car and leave without incident. To which, only the boyfriend picked up the car and left, while Mazy waited up the street (known via location sharing).
Throughout all of this, there were many attempts to give her protection that she turned down. She argues boundary breaking, while not respecting our own from the start of the trip booking. She ultimately put aside her own safety for the sake of convenience, and expected understanding from us while not providing us the same. Allrich wanted nothing to do with her throughout the trip, yet she persisted in her presence even after leaving the house. She accuses us of blindsiding her while we had no way of knowing he was going to VidCon, and expresses loneliness regardless of the multiple invitations to involvement. Allrich never planned on returning to the content space, nor did he state so at VidCon, nullifying the entire purpose of going public.
Any content opportunities that were felt as lost were unrelated to the original message on Page 6 of Mazy’s document, as there was no talk about the message beyond people who it was sent to. With all that being said, we hope Mazy is able to find a place where she feels safe and able to produce content. We ask for no more contact, as this does not need to go beyond this.
