WOLMER WOOD,

MARLOW COMMON,

MARLOW,BUCKS.

Oct. 10th 1926.

My dear friend

I was very glad to get your letter and to hear that you had got back safely – very many thanks for that sumptuous pocket book; it was exceedingly nice of you to have thought of sending me a souvenir of your Venice trip.[1] If nothing prevents me I hope to be with you on Wednesday. I am most anxious to hear all about your adventures and to see what you have been doing. I expect you have a lot of news. – I am afraid I have none.

Till Wednesday – | Always yours

A.L. Baldry
