I wish to thank you for kindly allowing me to have your portrait [3739] for inclusion in my Paris Exhibition^[1] which will be opened between June 1st and 3rd, and I take this opportunity to let you know that I have arranged for it to be collected tomorrow afternoon (Friday) between 2 and 4 o’clock by Messrs, Davies, Turner & Co. I enclose a label which I should be glad to have pasted at the back of the picture before it is handed over.

You will receive in due course the Catalogue, and a card of invitation for the Opening Day when I hope to have the pleasure of greeting you.
