Afternoon Hall Monitor #2 & Clean Up (11:30 - 3:30)

• Sign in, put on your orange vest for easy identification.
• Find the appropriate duty sticker in the co-op hall monitor notebook. Please wear it as a reminder of your responsibilities.  Eat before your schedule duties
• Parent duty is not a time to visit with other parents.
• From 12:00-12:45, assist the door monitor with students being dropped off and picked up.  IDs must be shown to enter the building.
• Monitor hallways, primarily on the 1st floor from the restrooms to the back end of the hallway.
• During class change, stand beside the 1st floor boys’ restroom. Remind/intervene as needed to help students not play in the restroom and go to their next class.
• During class check 1st floor restrooms.  You don’t have to clean them, just pick up any paper on the floor, and make sure the toilets are flushed and refill hand soap as needed.
• During class, briefly check 2nd floor restrooms and hallways as well.
• At 2:45 begin Clean up duties.
• Clean up 1st and 2nd floor bathrooms: pick up trash off floor, make sure toilets are flushed, etc.
• Check EVERY room to make sure: trash emptied, new bags put in, floors vacuumed. (Teachers should empty trash and vacuum, you are checking to ensure that was completed.)
• Empty all trash in bathrooms. Put in new bags (bags can be found in supply closet).  All trash can be placed in large gray trash can on 1st floor hallway.
• Collect wipes and sanitizers from classrooms and put them in the sanitizer tubs in supply closet. (Map of which rooms to collect from is in the green binder.)
• Collect the First Aid Kit from entry table and place it in the parent duty tub.
• Gather all orange vests, fold them, and place them in the parent duty tub.
• Return vest and sign out
