****Along with their creation, students need to include a Title and Artist’s Statement, connecting their work to the theme.  The Artist’s Statement may only be up to 100 words, but it is a vital piece of the program. Judges consider the Artist Statement for 40% of their overall rating.  Students should keep in mind that it isn’t just their creation, but this statement connecting the creation to the theme that is important.
