What is NMDP?

NMDP, previously known as BeTheMatch, is a global nonprofit organization that helps to “find cures and save lives for patients with blood cancers, blood disorders like sickle cell disease—and beyond”.

Where do the funds go?

All funds go directly towards their life-saving mission by providing patient assistance for transplant costs, further diversifying the registry, and funding research to help patients live longer, healthier lives.

How impactful is NMDP?

NMDP has impacted more than 130,000 lives through cell therapy.

Do I have to donate?

It is mandatory for all SLC members to sign up for an NMDP fundraising account. Help us by fundraising and getting people to donate to our TEAM fund!

How does donating help Walnut HOSA?

Donations can help Walnut HOSA be recognized for awards at SLC and ILC!
