RE:  STUDENT-CENTERED CONFERENCES

Team 6-4 will be holding student-centered conferences on Thursday, June 5, Monday, June 9, Wednesday, June 11, and Thursday, June 12.  We (teachers) have met with you several times this year so we felt that providing a format for a student-centered conference would be an opportunity for you and your child to sit together and look at some of the work which he/she has been doing in the four basic subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Studies.  Your daughter or son will have a portfolio ready to share with you and will be prepared to talk with you about academic progress and goals.  These conferences will be held in the afternoon at the end of the school day and will last about 15 minutes each.  (There will be several conferences going on at the same time. Your child will run these conferences; the teacher will not be a part of the conference.) If possible, please sign up to conference in your child’s homeroom

These conferences are optional.  If you cannot attend, then we will send home the portfolio your child has assembled so that he/she can still present it to you.
