We believe that these were not known to Honourable Prime Minister Modi Ji, Mohan Bhagwat Ji, and the Home Minister, Shri Amit Shah Ji. Being overworked, they could not pay due attention to what is being written from 2024 onwards for teaching our future generations.  

About NCERT Social Science Books for Grades 6 & 7

(Title: Exploring Society: India and Beyond)

Time lines in Grade 6 Books – (Pages - 63, 87, 108):        

Grossly incorrect Timelines drawn to promote the colonial mindset and demolish any national pride in the antiquity of our Vedic and rich ancient heritage.

Contents: Grade 6 Books – References to Chapters 4 to 8, on pages 59 to 166:

These deal with India’s ancient history, cultural heritage, and knowledge traditions, but have severely undermined our intellectual, social, cultural, scientific, agricultural, medicinal, and Sanatan Heritage. Those who authored chapters 4 to 8, which form part of Theme B & C, were determined to beat Macaulay, Mueller and Marshal (4-M) at distorting our history to reduce our national pride.

Some examples from the Grade 6 Book: Pages 88, 99, 106, 107, 109 are:

• Page 88: The beginning of civilisation in India is attributed to the Harappans of unknown origin, who have been projected as pre-Vedic people. They suddenly appeared in the Indus-Sarasvati region around 2500 BCE, built many ancient Metropolitan Cities, such as Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro. Then they completely disappeared from the scene around 2000 BCE, pushing India into the dark age for the next 800 years, i.e., up to 1200 BCE!
• Page 99: Even typically Indian artefacts and samples, such as seals, Swastik, Shivalinga, Om, Namaskar Mudra, pitchers, ploughs, and a crisscross pattern of cultivation, etc., described in the Vedas and Epics, are labelled as Harappan. Why have these been pronounced as extinct? Hundreds of archaeological reports document an unbroken continuity dating back to 5000 BCE.
• Pages 106-109: The Vedic Hymns have been dismissed as prayers to the Forces of Nature or for the performance of the rituals like Yagya. The authors of these chapters were either unaware of or intentionally concealed a vast wealth of knowledge available in the Vedas, particularly the Rigveda.

Time Lines in Grade 7 Books – (Pages - 79, 96, 97, 113, 142, 164):

Grossly incorrect Timelines drawn to promote the colonial mindset and to ensure that the people of India hang their heads with shame after reading this distorted and false history of Bharat, which beats 4-M and all the leftists combined to undermine our achievements of the past through recording blatant falsehood.

These forcefully describe how Harappan cities and civilisation disappeared completely around 2000 BCE, pushing India into the dark age for the next 800 years. After reading these, Macaulay, Max Müller, and John Marshal would be overjoyed in their graves, and the souls of true scientists and archaeologists, such as R. D. Banerji and Bhagwan Singh, would have become restless and anguished. The archaeologists, such as Jarrige, R. S. Bisht, Vasant Shinde, and Rakesh Tiwary, would feel hurt and humiliated.

Pages 67 – 81 (Chapter 4, New Beginnings: Cities and States):

The members of the team, who authored this chapter, deserve to be dismissed and punished. They have written that India’s first urbanisation was Harappan, when Metropolitan Cities suddenly came into existence around 2500 BCE and then disintegrated and completely disappeared around 2000 BCE. For the next thousand years, urban life remained absent from India. Some Janapadas began to emerge around 1200 BCE, & the Mahajanapadas around 800 BCE. The authors of this chapter only read Max Mueller’s Aryan Invasion theory, and John Marshal’s distorted archaeological reports on Harappa and Mohenjo-daro, published around 1931-34. Their sole aim was to reinforce the Macaulay mindset and undermine any pride in India’s Vedic and Sanskrit heritage. For them, during the last 90 years, Indian scholars and archaeologists have not excavated any sites of greater antiquity, nor have they ever thought of even looking at the archaeological reports, books, and articles, which pushed back the antiquity of civilisation in the Indus, Sarasvati, and Ganga Regions to 7000 BCE to 1000 BCE.

Grade 7, 83 – 115 (chapter 5, The Rise of Empires):

For the authors of this chapter, the first empire (Mauryan) came into existence in Magadh only in 326 BCE, after Alexander’s invasion. King Ashoka’s rule dates from 268 to 232 BCE. Before that, the people of India did not even know anything about an empire! For them, the history of Bharat began only in the 6th century BCE, after Gautam Buddha’s birth (he was actually born in 1887 BCE). For them, nothing much is known about Bharat's history after Ashoka. However, in chapter 6 of this very book, it is stated that the Indo-Greek invaders known as Shakas conquered North-Western Bharat after the decline of the Maurya Empire and ruled from 200 BCE to 100 CE! The followers of Macaulay, Mueller, Marx, and John Marshal knowingly recorded these distorted dates. This mindset was supported under Congress rule, as Nehru Ji never hesitated to admit that he was afraid of the Hindu Revival. Through these books, the NCERT, Indian Knowledge System, pioneers and the entire Education Ministry have proved that they can beat even the colonial-minded Marxists in distorting Bharat’s historical and cultural heritage.

Grade 7, Pages 117 – 143 (Chapter 6, The Age of Reorganization)

This chapter is most humiliating and disturbing for the people of South India. The authors of this chapter have squeezed all the dynasties of South India into the period between 200 BCE and 400 CE. These include Shungas, Chedis, Satavahanas, Cholas, Satakarnis, and Pandyas. Their major achievement is recorded as engaging in warfare with neighbouring kingdoms to expand their territory. How could these authors ignore the monumental, granite, pyramid-style temples built by the Cholas, which are the marvels of architectural and engineering, e.g., the Brihadisvara Temple? The Pandyas are celebrated for creating architectural wonders with elaborate gateways and unparalleled pyramidal structures, e.g., the Meenakshi Temple, yet there is no reference to them. The Rashtrakutas are known for rock-cut architectural marvels such as the Kailash Temple at Ellora, but were the authors unaware even of this? The authors of this chapter also record that the Shakas, the Hunas, and the Kushans invaded from the Central Asian Steppes, conquered North-Western Bharat, and ruled northern India from the 1st century BCE to the 4th century CE.

Grade 7, Pages 145 – 166 (Chapter 7, The Age of Reorganisation):

This chapter dates the mighty kings of the Gupta Dynasty, including Samudragupta and Chandragupta II, to the 300 to 600 BCE period. To the contrary, if verifiable scientific evidence is taken into account, these dates range from 326 BCE to 87 BCE. Unfortunately, the authors have entirely ignored mighty Vikramaditya, who ruled during 87-07 BCE. He united almost all of Bharat into his empire, including Nepal, and established the Vikrama Samvat in 57 BCE.

These details about India’s historical and cultural heritage are false and contradict all credible and scientific evidence. They deny even the historical facts recorded by Bharat Ratna Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

It appears that some anti-Bharat elements managed to infiltrate NSTC, Textbook Development Teams, NCERT Committees, and the IKS Division of the Ministry of Education. This dateline is worse than what was given by Marxist historians, who were staunch followers of Macaulay, Max Mueller (creator of Aryan Invasion theory), John Marshal (DG, ASI 1914-1928), who sacked R D Banerji, the excavator of Mohenjo-Daro, because in his report he referred to Vedic town and Buddha stupa determining date sequence of 3300-1300 BCE for 7 stratigraphy layers. Marshal hounded him out of ASI, and after he died in 1931, Marshal published a report in his own name covering the 2500-1900 time span for the Harappan Civilisation, and also advanced the idea that it might be of Mesopotamian/Sumerian origins. Apparently, the PM and MHA remained unaware, and the Education Ministry carelessly allowed publication of such anti-India books that reinforce the colonial mindset and undermine the value of Bharat’s historical, cultural and knowledge heritage.

The true and correct timelines, based on textual, astronomical, climatic, archaeological, epigraphic, oceanographic, genealogical, genetic, and remote sensing evidence, are summarised as under -  

1. Astronomical Dates of Textual References: The sky views of astronomical references in the Rigveda place the Rigvedic Era at 7500-6100 BCE and the Yajurveda era at 6200-5200 BCE. The astronomical dates of references in the Valmiki Ramayana place the Ramayan Era between 5200 and 3500 BCE. The planetary references in the Mahabharata could be observed sequentially between 3200 and 3000 BCE, and those in the Atharvaveda could be observed in 2340 BCE; these place the Mahabharata and Atharvaveda eras in 3500-2000. The astronomical date of the Nirvana of Gautama Buddha is 1807 BCE. These sky views cannot be seen in the sky 25920 years before or after the date displayed by the Planetarium.
2. Climatic Date sequence since the beginning of the Holocene: The Rigveda describes the start of the Holocene as Glacial Maxima in verses recorded in the past tense relating it to 10000-7500 BCE and the subsequent glacial melting resulting in the flow of rivers during 7500-6000 BCE. The Ramayana reflects a cold, heavy monsoon period (6000–3500 BCE), while the Mahabharata depicts a balanced, prosperous climate (3500–2000 BCE). The eventual aridification around 1900 BCE marks the localisation era, prompting the Vedic people to move from Metropolitan towns to smaller settlements in search of water. There was not even a day of the dark age in Bharat. This climate sequence is in line with global stratigraphic and oceanographic reports.
3. Archaeological Continuity: Excavations at over 3,200 sites along the Sarasvati–Indus–Ganga basins confirm continuous habitation for ten millennia. Sites like Mehrgarh (8000 BCE), Rakhigarhi (6000 BCE), and Lahuradeva (6000 BCE) display a material culture—ceramics, jewellery, and crops—that matches ancient textual descriptions. Archaeological reports have proved that the oldest advanced civilisation was during 3500-2000 BCE (Mahabharata Era), when the Rigvedic villages developed into metropolitan towns, e.g., Lothal had the world’s first dockyard, Dholavira, the first advanced Water Management System, Mohenjo-Daro developed the world’s first Great Bath, Lahuradeva provided proof of world’s earliest cultivation of rice, wheat, sesame, etc.
4. Genetic & Epigraphic Proof: Genetic studies indicate a gene flow out of Bharat, debunking invasion theories. These have proved the genetic continuity of civilised humans, including all varnas, for the last 11000 years, thus debunking the notion of separate, unknown origins for the Harappans, who were the Vedic people. Furthermore, even after excluding disputed inscriptions, more than 900 inscriptions dated in the Kali Yuga calendar, beginning with 3101 (3102 BCE), demonstrate the uninterrupted use of this timekeeping system for over 3,000 years. Dr M. L. Raja, Director, RICH (Dr S. Radhakrishnan Chair Rajyasabha), has listed 905 such inscriptions published by the Archaeological Surveys of India and its states.
5. The Reconstructed Chronology of Bharat: the sequential names of kings and dynasties recorded in Bhagavat and Vishnu Purana and cross-verified with the Vedas and Epics have revealed an uninterrupted continuum of the Rigvedic civilisation starting in the Indus, Sarasvati, and Ganga regions around 8000 BCE. After listing the kings and dynasties that ruled Bharat from the beginning of the Holocene to the start of the Christian era, it is proven that Vaivastya Manu was the ultimate father of most of the Indian population, through the descendants of his ten sons and one daughter. They included hundreds of branches and sub-branches of the Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras, multiplying and flourishing to this day.
6. Cultural and spiritual Continuity: Beyond continuity in archaeological samples and artefacts for ten thousand years, cultural symbols such as the Shivalinga, Swastika, and Om, alongside practices like Yog Mudras, the Namaskar, and crisscross ploughing, have remained virtually unchanged for ten millennia. Gayatri and Shanti Mantras have been recited for more than 8000 years. The ultimate model of an ideal welfare state remains Ram Rajya.
7. Scientific Knowledge and Discoveries: The Rigveda and Yajurveda contain advanced scientific concepts predating Western discoveries by thousands of years. These are recorded in hundreds of verses in the Vedas and have been extracted by scholars with precise references to the Mantras. These include: Heliocentric theory, i.e. Earth revolving around the Sun, and the Moon revolving around the Earth (Astronomical knowledge) verses, Concepts of gravitational force and electromagnetic waves (Physics), Applied Sciences include Metallurgy, extraction of minerals/oil, and complex medical surgeries (prosthetics, dentistry, ophthalmology). Knowledge of Mathematics recorded in the Vedas was so advanced that the Counting systems extending to a hundred quadrillion have been recorded. More than 744 varieties of Trees, plants, crops, and Medicinal Herbs have been recorded in the Rigveda and Atharvaveda. From tides to electromagnetic waves, from chemistry to metallurgy, from therapies to surgical treatments of the eyes, nose, teeth, legs, and joints, Hindus had made hundreds of discoveries. They recorded them in the Rigveda around 8000-7000 years before the Western world became aware of them.  
8. Vedic and post-Vedic literature have revealed Cultural continuity from the beginning of the Holocene to the beginning of the Christian Era and to date:  The basic foundation of our social, political, economic, and Sanatan culture has remained unchanged for 9000 years. The symbols, ideology, and beliefs show that from Rigvedic times to the present, the Shivalinga, Swastika, and Om have been considered sacred by Hindus. Yog Mudras, the Namaskar Mudra, and the design of Yajna-Vedis have remained similar. Our crisscross pattern of cultivation, plough, sieve, etc., has remained similar in shape and design. We have been chanting the Gayatri and Shanti Mantras on all auspicious occasions for 9000 years. These facts apply to the whole of Bharatvarsh. The principles of Sanatan Dharma, which prescribe the noble ways of living and teach universal brotherhood, remain the same to this day. The emperors were expected to ensure the security and prosperity of all the inhabitants; they were expected to replace a cruel king with a benevolent one. Has anyone ever heard that emperors, such as Maharaja Sagar, Shri Ram, Yudhishthira, Chandragupta Maurya, Samudragupta, Raja Chola or King Pandya ever permitted their armies to loot the public or rape the women?

In these NCERT Books, the opulence of the wisdom, knowledge, history, and culture revealed in our ancient texts has been ignored, vilified, and distorted, yielding results far worse than those of the colonial mindset books taught earlier. Why has this happened? Apparently, Modi Ji and Amit Shah Ji did not suspect any foul play, but can we risk poisoning the minds of our future generations? Let us look at some reasons why our minds remain colonised, accompanied by low self-esteem and a lack of national pride:

1. European Indologists were constrained by a deeply rooted Biblical belief that God created the Earth, its flora and fauna, and Adam and Eve in six days from 23rd to 28th October, 4004. Therefore, they made every possible effort to fit India's ten-thousand-year-old history into 3500 years, distorting and mutilating it.
2. The Governor General of India approved the infamous Macauley Minutes (MM) on 7th March, 1835: These provided a blueprint for British education policy that became legally applicable in India. The Sanskrit language was condemned as useless, and all financial support for its reading, writing, teaching and publishing was withdrawn. (Para 3/Page 3 of MM). By imparting English education, “a class of persons, Indian in blood and colour but English in tastes, opinions, morals and intellect, was to be created.
3. Max Müller’s works caused the ultimate damage to Bharat’s history and heritage: Keen to retain his job and the publication of his books by Oxford, for which he needed a lot of money, he entered into an agreement with the East India Company that he would translate Sanskrit scriptures in a manner that would kill the pride of Hindus in their Vedic heritage, exercise control over their minds to prolong the British rule, and they would consider everything English as superior; all this in exchange for Money and retention of job at Oxford!
4. By inventing the myth of the Aryan Invasion by nomads from the Russian Steppes in 1500 BCE, Max Müller achieved all these objectives: He reduced the antiquity of the Vedic civilisation of Bharat by at least 6,000 years. He stole the pride of the English-literate Hindu intelligentsia in their Vedic heritage by claiming that the Vedas were composed by the Russian nomads. Oxford published his translations of the Rigveda between 1847 and 1867. Max Mueller, in letters sent to his mother and wife, acknowledged such intentional distortion of India’s Vedic heritage.
5. Karl Marx wrote reports on India’s first war of independence during 1853-1859 for the New York Tribune and authored Das Kapital in 1867: Marxism became a popular ideology. He opined that the successive Islamic invaders founded their empires in India, enslaved Hindus and committed all sorts of atrocities. Hindus, being an extremely tolerant and non-resistant society, continued to tolerate all that. Therefore, he concluded that Hindus were meant to be enslaved; therefore, it was better for India to be ruled by the British, who would be less exploitative and cruel than the Afghans, Turks or the Mughals. However, the Indian Marxists did greater damage to India’s history and heritage by treating the Islamists as natives and justifying atrocities on Hindus, reversing Marx’s view. They wanted to be acknowledged as followers of Marxism.
6. Marshal’s distortion of Archaeology: He dictatorially pushed forward the dates of Mohenjo-Daro and Harappa from 3300-1300 BCE to 2500-1900 BCE, and prohibited archaeologists from referring to the Vedas. The dictum is still followed. The archaeologists excavate and epigraphists decipher inscriptions, but still follow John Marshal's orders by calling everything earlier than 2500 BCE prehistory, keeping the controversy over the deciphering of seals alive. They are clear that any Government orders or notifications have never overruled Marshal’s directions.

How to Deconstruct this Distortion: To restore pride in our ancient Vedic heritage and to make Bharat a Vishvaguru, we need to put an end to ‘Macaulay’ and ‘Beyond Marx’ mindsets simultaneously, we need to -

To demolish the "Macaulay" mindset, it is necessary to simultaneously dismantle the distortions created by Max Muller, Marshal, and Marxists (4 M) and perpetuated under Congress rule for 70 years.

To raise the self-esteem of our current and future generations, it is necessary to acknowledge the anguish of the current generation of being taught a distorted history that lowers their self-esteem and pride in their Nation’s heritage.

To teach evidence-based true history containing verifiable facts: By presenting accurate facts, supported by scientific evidence, about our historical, cultural and knowledge heritage from sky maps to genetic markers and from climatic studies to remote-sensing reports, from archaeology to inscriptions, from knowledge of sciences to the knowledge of Dharma.

To ensure that the knowledge of modern sciences contained in the Vedas is included in the respective Science subjects: These would include books on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Astronomy, Metallurgy, Medical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences, etc. Through informal enquiries, it has been ascertained that even the IKS Technical division is quite unaware of our ancient scientific discoveries (not to be mistaken for inventions).

It is clear that these NCERT Books for class 6 and 7 have laid the foundation on which superstructure would be built: The members of committees formed under the Ministry of Education associated with Indian Knowledge System, NCERT, UGC, etc. are either ignorant about the wealth of knowledge contained in the Vedas or they have read distorted translations by Mueller, Griffth, Wilson, They are not even aware of the very reliable translations of Vedas, such as by Tulsi Ram Sharma.

There is an urgent need to change the entire team, right from the Minister, Secretaries, IKS experts, UGC committees, and NCERT Committees: New teams need to be created urgently. Till then, the work on writing these books, which promote a colonial mindset and demolish national pride, needs to be stopped.

If the government is unable to identify real scientists and scholars, we offer our services across all nine disciplines listed above and shall not seek any high salaries or perquisites. We only need formal orders of nominations to committees, infrastructure for working and reimbursement of expenditure. We have already written many books. Many in Hindi, but the Ministry of Education banned their bulk buying and distribution since 2020-2021. There is no way for libraries, universities, colleges, or schools to know about these books, which can demolish the Macaulay Mindset and make Bharat a Vishvaguru by fostering shared pride in our heritage across almost all subjects. These Members will be from all parts of Bharat, from J&K to Tamil Nadu, from Assam to Goa.

We shall provide all the subject content that the existing IKS Division big-Bigs will not review; the Government can have these reviewed by real scientists and scholars who have already proven their credentials by writing high-quality books.

We request Modi Ji and Amit Shah Ji to save the country from this disaster and save all of us from embarrassment, because for the sake of our motherland, Bharat, we shall be forced to criticise the government we have admired, and our Nation, instead of getting united, would become divided and chaotic.
