AFRO ROOTS EVENT POLICY

Welcome to Afro Roots – Bali’s most vibrant weekly Afrobeats & Amapiano experience, every Sunday at The Back Room, Canggu.

Here’s everything you need to know before joining us on the dance floor:

EVENT DETAILS

  • Day & Time: Sundays, 9:30 PM – 3:30 AM
  • Location: The Back Room, Canggu

AGE RESTRICTION

  • 21+ only. Please bring valid ID for entry.

GUESTLIST & BOOKINGS

  • Guestlist registration is available via our Linktree.
  • WhatsApp contact for table bookings is also on our Linktree.
  • Alternatively, DM us on Instagram: @afroroots.limited.

COVER CHARGE

  • Limited guestlist available until spots run out.
  • Regular cover charge: 200,000 IDR (without a drink).
  • Guestlist closes at 23:30 sharp.
  • Arrival after 23:30 with guestlist = standard door charge applies.

CHECK-IN

  • Show your QR code or registered name at the door.
  • Guestlist closes at 23:30.

STAMPS & WRISTBANDS

  • Guestlist guests must stay until 00:00 to receive a re-entry stamp.
  • Leaving before midnight = no stamp, re-entry requires full cover charge.
  • Paid guests receive wristbands for all-night access.

NO REFUNDS

  • All ticket and table sales are final.

DRESS CODE

  • Smart casual. No flip-flops.
  • Dress to dance and impress.

TABLE RESERVATIONS

Upgrade your night with a VIP experience.

Deposit & Payment Policy

  • 50% deposit required for bookings made up to 24 hours before the event.
  • 100% payment required for bookings made within 24 hours of the event.
  • After 9 PM, all remaining tables are first come, first serve only.
  • No deposit = no guaranteed booking.
  • Deposits are non-refundable.

Arrival Timing

  • Tables with 50% deposit must arrive before 00:30.
  • Tables with 100% deposit are held all night.
  • No-shows after cutoff time = table released.

Table Options

  • Standing Table: up to 4 guests
  • VIP Table: up to 8 guests
  • VVIP Table: up to 10 guests

Payment Options

  • Payment link will be provided to complete deposits.
  • At the door: max 3 card splits allowed.

Afro Roots is about unity, energy, and inclusivity. Please:

  • Respect our team, performers, and fellow guests.
  • Aggressive or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
  • Party responsibly and look out for your friends.
  • If you experience or witness anything concerning, notify staff immediately.

MEDIA CONSENT

By attending Afro Roots, you agree to being photographed/filmed for promotional purposes.
