DEAR SIR,
It has been arranged that a general Collection of Pictures, Drawings, Icons, Maiolica, Furniture, and other Objects of Art shall be shown in the Club Gallery during the coming winter months.
I shall be pleased to hear if you have any suitable Works of Art that you would be willing to lend, so that a member of the Sub-Committee undertaking the arrangement of the Gallery might call and see them for the purpose of making a selection.
Contributors will be asked to be good enough to arrange for the transfer of their existing insurances for the duration of the exhibition.
It is hoped that the Gallery may be opened early in December. The various loans would therefore be wanted at the Club earl in November.
Yours faithfully,
J. R. BAILEY,
Secretary.
