Do you want to use your hacking skills to help small businesses use SaaS?
Then join the San Diego tech community and some savvy cyberspace lawyers on January 26, 2017, 6 – 8:30 p.m. for a Prototype Jam!
This unique jam will give hackers and lawyers an opportunity to collaboratively design prototypes for helping small businesses review and evaluate SaaS and cloud service contracts. Prizes will be awarded for the best designs. WeWork San Diego will host the Prototype Jam at its new 600 B Street location. Registration is FREE! Dinner and refreshments will be served.
Small businesses often struggle to get the legal support they need. This event, sponsored by two American Bar Association groups (the Cyberspace Law Committee and the Legal Analytics Joint Working Group), will help entrepreneurs take advantage of SaaS and cloud service contracts with appropriate legal protection and support the ABA Center for Innovation’s A2J mission.
Kira Systems, LexPredict, and Bloomberg BNA are generously sponsoring the event and will provide judges to evaluate the prototype designs generated during the jam. Additional support is provided by WeWork and Legal Hackers.
And if you want to learn more about the latest developments (and what is on the horizon) for cyberspace law, check out the Cyberspace Law Institute and Winter Working Meeting taking place on January 27-28 at the US Grant Hotel in downtown San Diego.
Registration for both events is open now:
