CADOGAN HOTEL,

SLOANE STREET,

LONDON, S.W.1.

April 24th [1931]

Dear Mr. de Laszlo

I returned yesterday from the West Indies, & find your letter asking for my picture [4643] for your Paris exhibition.[1] I need not say how pleased I shall be for it to be shown  as apart from its “ugly subject with her huge mouth”!  I think it is artistically one

of your most interesting pictures.

We have sold our house in Queen Street & for the moment our things are in store. I have instructed the storage people to hold it in readiness for your instructions.

Perhaps your secretary will communicate with them:-  Messrs J.J. Allen Ltd. of 130 Sloane Street. (Telephone Sloane 6171, & ask for Mr. Hood.). & say when you want the picture.

I am taking my sister’s[2] house, 47 Eaton Place, for a couple of months while

while we look round for a new house  so if there is any further arrangement to make that address will find me.

With kindest regards to you both, | Yrs v sincerely
