Knitting with Beads

Maureen will be teaching the basics in selecting beads and yarn for beaded knitting. She will cover a few different methods for placing beads in knitting, and will even teach you how to add beads to your projects that are not in the original pattern!

Class Limit of 15 people

Supplies:

Yarn: Approx 30 yards, fingering weight yarn with nylon as part of content.  (Avoid single plied yarn.)

Needles: US 2 or 3 and US 6  

Beads: **UPDATED: Size 6 seed beads preferred (7 gm tube from Joanns or Michaels should be fine for learning techniques).** If you already purchased Size 8 glass seed beads, there will be extra size 6 for you at the workshop. Optional: Small battery operated light.

**Super floss and dental floss threaders will be provided for each attendee for placing beads.**
