Origami Cup 2 Official Rules
1. General Information
The Origami Cup is a Strinova tournament for EMEA players only. ( We allow a maximum of 1 NA or APAC player in each team if they don’t play in one of the two other tourney)

1.1 Tournament Format
- Swiss System for qualifiers
- 2 groups
- Top 4 teams of each groups advance to the knockout
- Single Elimination Bracket for knockout stages
- Quarter-finals, Semi-finals are Best-of-Three (BO3)
- Finals is Best-of-Five (BO5)

- Sign-ups Open: 06.07.2025 18:00
- Sign-ups Close: 18.07.2025 00:00
- Qualifiers: 19.07.2025 - 20.07.2025
- Quarter & Semi-Finals: 26.07.2025 18:00 / 23:00
- Finals: 27.07.2025 18:00 / 23:00
1.3 Broadcasting & Streaming
- Official Casters: ???? & ????
- Players can stream their matches with a 5-minute delay (official stream will have a 3-minute delay).
- Violation of the streaming delay policy may result in a match forfeiture or tournament suspension.
- Unauthorized spectating of opponents’ matches is prohibited. Violators may forfeit the match.
2. Tournament Rules
2.1 Game Settings
- Standard Ranked Mode Rules apply.
- Same maps as in Ranked Mode.
- Infinite Overtime is enabled.
- Map Ban System is in place. ( Only for Knockout stage )
- Characters & Maps must have been available in the global version for a minimum of 7 days prior to the tournament start date.
2.3 Reporting Results
- Winning team captain must submit match results to @welltheshark on Discord with a screenshot and replay file. Disputed results will be reviewed by tournament admins.
- Disputes must be submitted to admins within 15 minutes of match completion. Admins’ decisions are final.
2.4 Roster Rules
- Teams must have at least 5 players.
- Up to 2 substitutes are allowed.
- Players cannot participate in multiple teams.
- Rosters are locked after sign-ups close. Substitutes must be registered before the tournament begins. Players removed from a team may not join another team for the duration of the event.
3. Map System
3.1 BO1 (Swiss Stages)
Teams will have to play on set map for the qualifier :
Game 1 : Base 404
Game 2 : Cauchy Street
Game 3 : Area 88
Game 4 : Windy Town
Game 5 : Cosmite
Use the Bot on the official server to roll a number, team A is even and Team B is odd. Team A pick side.
3.2 BO3 (Knockout Stages)
- Roll determines Team A and Team B.
- Team A bans 1 map
- Team B bans 1 map
- Team A picks 1 map, Team B picks side
- Team B picks 1 map, Team A picks side
- Team A bans 1 map
- Team B bans 1 map
- Last map is decider, Team A picks side
- Teams have 30 seconds to confirm bans/picks. Errors cannot be reversed after confirmation.
4. Match Forfeits & Rematch Rules
4.1 Forfeits
- Teams have 5 minutes to check in before an automatic forfeit.
- Teams may request a 5-minute grace period for technical issues, provided they notify admins immediately. Unverified delays result in forfeit.
- Qualifiers: A no-show results in a 9-0 forfeit.
- Knockout Stages: A forfeit results in a 2-0 match loss.
4.2 Rematch Guidelines
- A rematch may be granted if:
- Severe technical issues impact gameplay fairness.
- A server crash occurs.
- The wrong game settings were used.
- Team comp and nade must remain identical in case of a rematch.
5. Player Conduct & Penalties
5.1 Code of Conduct
Players must adhere to the following:
- Maintain sportsmanship and respect opponents and staff.
- No toxicity, harassment, or discrimination.
- No account sharing
- No use of macros, cheats, exploits, AHK, scripts.
- No collusion, match-fixing, or intentional loss.
- No excessive or disruptive spamming of in-game items, actions, or mechanics to harass or demean opponents.
- If you had done discriminating, racist, homophobic or such actions repeatedly toward one or multiple people even outside the tournament. The staff have the last say in this matter
5.2 Penalties

Repeat offenders will face progressively severe penalties, up to permanent bans, at the admins’ discretion.
6. Prize Pool

- 5th and 6th teams of their group in the swiss stage will get 1k Bablo for each player
