Class Activities for Feb. 26, 2014

Objective:  By the end of this classroom you will know:

• The various types of questions on the PARCC ELA assessment

and be able to

• log on to the PARCC practice site
• use the tools available for ELA PARCC tests
• practice taking the PARCC test online.

Activities

1. Make sure you restarted your computer and logged in with the credentials username: NPSPARCC password NPSPARCC .
2. Do the TestNav Tutorial.  Click HERE to start the tutorial.  It will say, start “TEST” but it’s not really a test.  Go through the steps of the tutorial which will explain the various tools and menus.  If you finish you can go back to the website and study the locations in South America.
3. Use your Student Login to take a Practice Test.  Click here and log in with the username and password I have given you. http://parcctrng.testnav.com/client/index.html#login
4. Work through the practice test.  Do your best and let me know if you have any questions.  Try using all the tools, in particular the highlight, flag and review!
