MRS. CHAMBERLAIN’S AT HOME

Mrs. Austen Chamberlain, wife of the Secretary for Foreign Affairs, yesterday held at 2, Morpeth-mansions, Westminster, her second At Home of the Session for the representatives of the Diplomatic Corps and their friends. The Spanish Ambassador was present with Madame Merry del Val, and other representatives of the Diplomatic Corps present included the Swedish Minister and Baroness Palmstierna, the Lithuanian Minister and Madame E. Galvanauskas, Countess Ahlefeldt Laurvig, Madame de Fleuriau Princess de Croy, Dr. Georges V. Todorovic, M. J. de Poulpiquet Du Halgouet, Herr Herbert von Mumm, Baron T. von Plessen, Herr and Frau Albert Dufour Feronce, and Mr. Monck.

Among others in the large company were the Dowager Countess of Halsbury, Cora Countess of Strafford, Julia Countess of Dartrey, Lady Maud Hoare, Lady Margaret Duckworth, Lady Cunard, Mary Lady Lawrence, Sir Newtón and Lady Moore, Lady Glover, Lady (Ian) Malcom, Lady Russell, Sir Maurice de Bunsen, Sir George and Lady Berry, Lady Colefax, Colonel Sir Charles and Lady Yate, Sir Malcom and Lady Robertson, Mrs. Baldwin, Lieutenant Colonel and Mrs. Wilfred Ashley, Mrs. Amery, Captain and Mrs. Michael Peto, Mrs. Dundas, Mr. P. de Laszlo; Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Thomas, Captain A.
