Topic: Creative Visioning and Goal-Setting in a Time of Crisis: A creative workshop for trans men artists, writers, and creators led by Cooper Lee Bombardier

When: July 24th 3:00 PM PST

Description: In the immediate weeks following a shift to lockdown and social distancing, social media was inundated with messages about the important cultural and critical works that writers, thinkers, artists, and scientists of the past produced during quarantines and isolation. These posts were met by an immediate push-back against an obligation toward productivity. For many of us, being forcibly ejected from our livelihoods and routines has instilled countless challenges in our daily lives. How can we filter through the noise and get clear on how we want to come through this time in our creative work? What is right for YOU? This two-hour visioning session will utilize discussion, reflection, and writing exercises to:

  • help men listen to their needs around their creative work in this time of crisis,
  • to get clear, set goals and/or routines that reflect your individual needs and values,
  • and connect with other trans men who are figuring out how to create and to be during Covid
