Birth Order Research
Birth Order Research some what describes my personality. Birth Order Research are test and descriptions of yourself according to your placement of birth. For example say you are the first born child in your family you would be a natural born leader and be very afraid to fail. There are so many traits the research describes a colossal list of descriptions, traits, and even diseases you would be prone to. Nevertheless, the research isn’t always right it could give many examples of your personality which don’t describe you at all. To illustrate, I am an only child so that means I’m a well-organized person which is very wrong because I am horribly unorganized . The research also states I tend to be a perfectionist which is also a bad example of myself I am no where near a perfectionist I will admit i don’t like things miscellaneous but everything being perfect angers me. To summarize, Birth order research will describe you perfectly in some descriptions and others not so much.
There are many positive traits and negative traits in being an only child one example of a negative trait would be self harm. I personally have thought of self harm to solve some of my dilemmas but i never did harm myself, I came close so many times but never did. I always thought i was pathetic and not worth anything but luckily i had friends to help me threw those hard times. More negative traits include being cold blooded and very serious. I do consider myself cold blooded, I lack feeling and emotion. In fact, I’ve made my mother cry because i told her I didn’t want to spend time with her or anything to do with family. I’ve said I hate them so many times and that I didn’t care about family but I do care deep down. Even if I don’t show my unconditional love for my mom and dad I do love them. Being serious can also be positive but to me its negative my family always tell me that I have a serious face as if to hate everyone. To conclude, being an only does have negative traits.
There are positive traits to being an only child which would include hard worker and going beyond the boundaries. An example of hard worker would be me being in an honors class and Ap class. I work so hard in school so that i can make it into a great university and become a medical examiner. With more hard work I know can accomplish my aspiration. Going beyond the boundaries to me is pushing myself to the limit. I’ve been swimming for twelve years and competitively for three. In my first competitive swim meet i did mediocre, so I promised myself that I would work harder and place at least third place. The day of my next meet I shock with nervousness on the diving board waiting for the referee to say take your mark. Waiting for the beep signaling the other competitors and I to begin our swim, when the beep went off it was as if all my worries had disappeared and all that was on my mind was winning. When i finally reach the wall i looked to see if i had placed top three I did better than i had hoped for I placed first in the 50 freestyle with a time of twenty-eight seconds. I pushed myself even harder my freshman year for swim try-outs I did my best and the next day I found out I made varsity. Therefore, the positive traits did describe me perfectly.
To Finalize, Birth order research does describe everyone's personality in both a positive and negative manner. You may be a nice, kind, loveable person or the complete opposite according to the research. Despite what the research says you are your own person and you shouldn’t believe in every single thing it says. I now stay true to myself and am trying to improve all the negative traits given to me and making the positive traits more positive.
