7 December 1924 [postmarked]

Dear friend

My apologies for my silence. I have just lost a cousin I loved very much, the Marquise de Laguiche, née Princesse d’Arenberg.[1]

My cousins Szechenyi (Denès and Miton) had visited us here for 8 days, and he had erysipelas and lost the ability to speak. At last his life does not seem to be at risk anymore…

admired them.

The Duchesse de Montmorency requests that you write to her now to let her know when you will be back.

Our best wishes to you and Mrs de László.
