install instructions

1. Install GTA-VC 1.0

2. Install Vice Cry 1.7, patch to 1.7.1 and then to 1.7.2

3. Install ALL vehicle mods with GTA-MOD-Installer. The car installation sequence in GMI is:

- Continue

- Install a Custom Vehicle into Vice City > Next

- I want to select the ZIP or RAR file that has ... > Next

- Select the vehicle's ZIP or RAR file > select vehicle ZIP > Next

- Select Vehicle to replace > Next

- click "install DMagic1 Wheel mod" when requested

- Do you want to change the name of the vehicle... > NO

- Vehicle physics lines no need to change anything > Next

- Do you want to backup the files... > NO

- Restart GMI, back to 1st step and install next vehicle

4. Open gta3.img with IMG Tool 2.0 and delete

- bikeh.ifp

- hlrycar.dff

- hlrycar.txd

- merced.dff

- merced.txd

then add the provided files (of the same names) with the "add" command and close

5. Replace the following files with the provided ones

- vehicles.col paste in ...\models\coll

- handling.cfg & default.ide paste in ...\data

- american.gxt paste in ...\TEXT

6. Paste 60vcframelimiter.cs and 60vcframelimiter.txt in ...\CLEO (this folder has already been created by Vice Cry)
