POLICY:  The Mariposa Project standard for collaborating with an individual, a group and /or an organization is that there is evidence of tolerance.  That the exploitation and oppression of human beings is not acceptable.

PURPOSE: Identifying groups or individuals the Mariposa Project can partner in providing programs.

RESPONSIBLE PERSON (S):  Officers

PROCEDURE:

When any new organization is being researched for collaboration one officer will be assigned to discuss concerns Mariposa has of that group.  Several attempts should be made to address the concerns face-to-face.  If this fails to provide clarification of the organizations direction or resolution from the presiding president or director of that agency a letter should be emailed or hand delivered to those concerned. The letter will include the dates attempting to resolve the issue/s and request a written response and a timeline for the response. The officer will report back to the entire board.  Any concerns not addressed or no response will be considered by the board to be a lack of interest in participating with Mariposa Project.
