Dear Mr. de Lászlo,

My mother tells me that you have very kindly consented to make a sketch of me [7851] for my father.[1] I expect to be in London till the middle of February, so would you perhaps let me know when you would have time to start. Unfortunately I have only Saturday

afternoons free from one o’clock onwards.[2] If how ever it is too inconvenient for you I will do my best to have a few free hours in the morning.

[1] De László painted [7851] and one of Princess Theodora’s sister, Princess Margarita [8195], as a silver wedding anniversary present for Prince and Princess Andrew of Greece [6622] [6615]. Princess Andrew had commissioned them herself and her family decided to pay for them as a gift. For further details, see [7851].
