The Digestive System
The Digestive System is a group of organs in your body and the organs all try to help you.
The Mouth the mouth chews all the food that you put in your mouth. The Mouth tries to break up all the food that you put in your mouth. Then when you have swallowed it it goes to the Oesophagus.
The Oesophagus makes all the food that you just swallowed. The food stays in the Oesophagus and when it is falling it is called peristalsis. Also it falls for about 6 or 7 seconds until it reaches the stomach.
The Stomach holds all that has just came from the oesophagus. The food stays in the Stomach for about 2 hours and then all the water goes to the small intestines and all the food goes to the large intestines.
The Small Intestines carries all the water that just came out of your stomach. The small intestines begin to start making your wee. Then the food goes to the large intestines.
The large intestines make your Faeces and then when you need to go to the toilet the Faeces come out of your rectum. Then the large intestine turns all the food with the water and then it makes Faeces and then you go to the toilet.
