God of justice and love, may our attitudes reflect the love you give so that we may be known as followers of Christ. We ask this in your holy name, Amen.

Celebrating Excellence

On Monday, April 10th, Alyssa Lachance will be receiving the Celebrating Excellence Award at St. Paul High School for her exceptional efforts to exemplify the Gospel values at our school. Congrats Alyssa!

Vimy Ridge Ribbons

Last week, the yellow ribbons that were decorated by our Junior students in memory of Canadian soldiers who fought at Vimy Ridge, were tied to the Vimy Memorial Bridge in Ottawa. For more information, please see this CBC News story.

Basketball Tryouts

The gym is a busy place at lunch hour at our school, as the tryouts for the girls and boys basketball teams have begun. The girls basketball tournament is taking place on Wednesday, April 12th and the boys basketball tournament is taking place on Thursday, April 20th. Our school will be hosting both tournaments and we look forward to seeing many parents supporting our teams.

Lenten Project

This year, for our Lenten project, we will be raising money for the Shepherds of Good Hope. Here is more information about our project and the Alms calendar that you can follow. Thanks for your support.

CSPA Parent Workshop

The Catholic School Parents Association will be holding a workshop called, “Recognizing and supporting the mental health needs of our children and youth.” Dr. Elizabeth Paquette will be presenting at the workshop, which will take place on Thursday, April 27th, from 7:00-9:00pm at Immaculata High School. This session will explore the concepts of "normal stress" and the "continuum of mental health" along with the signs and symptoms of potential mental health issues in children and youth.  When and where to access services and supports for mental health within our community will be discussed. Strategies to foster resilience in our children and youth will be shared. Here is the registration information.

Shroud Visit

On the morning of Thursday, April 6th, our Grade 6 students will be visiting St. Isidore Parish in Kanata, to view the shroud of Turin. More information on the shroud of Turin can be found here.
