June Weekly Plan
Day 1
- Review materials posted on Edline
- Look through materials in the order they are posted on Edline
- Videos may be watched as individuals, or in small or large groups.
- Take notes on main ideas
- Notes may be taken individually in Evernote or in small or large groups in a Google Doc
- Work to identify main ideas, key people, important events, and essential terms.
Day 2
- Decide on essential question to fit the topic. Check with Mrs. G to get approval.
- Write a blog post identifying the essential question and using evidence from the materials to answer it. All normal blog post parameters apply (see Guide to Great Blog Posts).
Day 3
- Wrap up work from Days 1 and 2.
- As a class, make a plan for how you will create the 40 questions on this unit for the final exam. Questions should:
- require knowledge of important content.
- require analysis of primary sources.
- Start creating questions on a shared class Google Doc. Record answer key on a separate shared class Google Doc. Be sure to check with Mrs. G about question quality if necessary.
Day 4
Complete creation of 40 final exam questions.
