Bullying Curriculum

Children will identify a range of bullying behaviors and recognize the emotional impact of those behaviors on others.  

When someone does mean things again and again on purpose what do we call that?

- Whole Group: Review definition of bullying and bullying behavior.

- Read Aloud: Sam and Lee

- Whole group discussion on why this story is a bullying situation.

- Pair Share: Describe a bullying behavior

- Independent Practice: Draw a picture of one thing they learned about bullying and share their picture with the class.  

- Does it sound like Lee and Sam are usually friends, who like to play together? How do you know?

- What mean things does Sam do in the story?

- If you were Lee how would you keep yourself safe from Sam’s behavior?
