How do I get a Library Card?

 

School district 25, Bannock County, and Idaho residents:

Bring in your photo ID and a separate proof of address, like a utility bill or a lease agreement.

Pocatello city residents:

Bring in your Marshall Library ID, your photo ID, and a proof of residence.

Limited Use Cards

Limited use cards will grant you access to our Internet computers as well as allow one print material checkout at a time (books and magazines). Children under the age of 18 must have their card application signed by a parent or legal guardian.

 

Library Loan Periods

Most Books     -        4 Weeks

New Books      -        2 Weeks

Audiobooks     -        2 Weeks

Story Kits         -        2 Weeks          (Limit 1 per card)

DVDs               -        1 Week        (Limit 5 per card)

Games              -        1 Week        (Limit 2 per card)

Puppets            -         1 Week        (Limit 3 per card)

 

All cards may have up to 30 items checked out at one time

 

Fines

Most Items                                          -    $0.10/day

DVDs, Games, Puppets             -    $0.25/day

Lost Items                                  -    Replacement cost of the item + $5.00 processing fee

 

Borrowing privileges will be suspended if fines reach the amount of $5.00

 

Replacement Cards

Patrons wishing to replace lost/destroyed cards must come to the library with a photo ID. If the Patron is a child under the age of 18, they must bring a parent/guardian with their photo ID.

 

Cost of replacement cards:

Credit Card Size                -    $5.00

Keychain Size Card          -    Free
