ECU installation

Preparing distributor

Additional information

Installation of injector rail

Remove mechanical injectors with distributor

Remove upper half of intake manifold.

Remove throttle dampfer (under throttle assembly)

Remove MAF air plate. Secure moving part with plastic strap.

Install distributor cap using sealant

Cut start injector mount which prevents installing fuel rail.

Seal start injector with a sealant.

Install injector inserts

Install new injectors into inserts as deep as you can. Install fuel rail.

Drill holes for screws and fasten fuel rail.

Install fuel line.

Install idle valve

Place wire harness and connect it to injectors.

ECU installation

ECU is dust and splashproof. It cannot withstand continuous water contact or high pressure cleaning.

Do not install ECU with cable upwards. In this case, water and moisture will floow off the cable onto ECU.

Remove old ECU.

Connect injectors’ 12V power line in parallel to existing wire.

Cut existing wires to connect injector 1..5.

2.0L engine (25-pin connector)

Injectors power line (12V) - 14

Injector 1 - 12

Injector 2 - 9

Injector 3 - 2

Injector 4 - 22

Injector 5 - 20

K-line - 11

Ground - 18 и 35

EXT signal - 33

If some of required wire isn’t availabe, you can pull any of following wires: 19,24,25,29

Injectors power line (12V) - 1

Injector 1 - 24

Injector 2 - 22

Injector 3 - 20

Injector 4 - 19

Injector 5 - 7

K-line - 16

Ground - 15 и 17

EXT signal - 15

In some stock harness EXT signal is wired to air conditioner relay.

If you don’t have OBD2 connector in car, you can simply connect 3 wires to the OBD adapter (Ground, 12V, KLine)

4 - ground

7 - К-line

16 - 12V

FAQ

Q: Is it mandatory?

A: No - if youre using petrol, you can use batch injection mode. Yes - if you’re using LPG.

Q: My distributor is different. What should I do?

A: Manual is written in such way that you should get proper result on any distibutor

Manual

Find spark plug wire of first cylinder

Mark this wire on distributor housing

Remove distributor cap

Turn crankshaft until rotor meet our mark

Remove rotor and protective cap

Mark shutter gap which is next to the hall sensor

Cut a vane by 2.5mm exactly

Warning! If you will cut more than 2.5mm, ignition control unit will malfunction. If you will cut less - ECU will not be able to sync properly.
