This 12v Gadget Charging Accessory is manufactured by a carefully selected Chinese outfit. We have tried many and settled for this particular model out of the many Chinese brands. We have imported these kits directly, which has helped keep the price competitive compared to other sellers.
DIY DIFFICULTY: Easy
WARNINGS AND CAUTION
QUALIFIED FITMENT: Due care should be taken during installation of the accessory. Improperly fitted accessory may hamper handlebar movement. The installation can be performed if you have experience in DIY; else best to use an experienced mechanic. Inspect the accessory after installation to ensure there are no loose wires and nuts or bolts. Ensure correct polarities of the wiring is observed.
PERSONAL INJURY: Ensure that the bike has cooled down before installing or inspecting the hand guard to avoid personal injury. Ensure the bike is on a stable platform, ideally using a rear paddock stand. Ensure adequate lighting and ventilation is available for your own safety.

USAGE WARNINGS: Do not do the following:

Diagram 2: USB port No Load Current draw 8.63mA
Diagram 3: 0.5A current draw while charging a Samsung Note 2 mobile which was already charged ~90%. Mobile phone reports 1600mA as the current draw.
Diagram 4: 0.7A current draw when Samsung Note 2 is about 90% changed and running GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth and screen at full brightness. The charge % goes up from 90% to 91% in about 3 minutes.

Diagram 7: The wire input holes make this product only Water Resistant and not Water Proof. Apply some silicone gel here. Or better still, wrap a waterproof plastic zip lock bag over this accessory during wet weather.
