When Franklin Delano Roosevelt was elected the 32nd president in 1932 he offered the American people a “New Deal”. Programs and policies that would help ease the suffering of a nation in the grips of a depression. Using the information sheet on the New Deal that identifies the 10 greatest programs of the New Deal, identify which of those 10 YOU believe are the 5 most important programs and why you believe that. You will need to identify the program by its initials; it’s complete name, what its goal was, and why you believe it was important. Then choose ONE of the programs and come up with a catchy advertising slogan that will help the rest of the nation have faith in that program. You can put the slogan at the bottom of this page.
