Dear Future Kindergarten Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank each of our families for entrusting our faculty and staff each day to provide for your child’s safety, well-being and education. Our students are all bright, shining stars that light up our school with smiles, laughter, and a desire to learn.
A list of suggested readings for the summer can be accessed here and our only request is that you work with your child to read at least one of the books suggested over the course of the summer.

Other Information
- Please join us for the Kindergarten Meet and Greet on Wednesday, September 6th from 1:00-2:00 PM.
- First Day of School is Thursday, September 7th. Families are asked to arrive at 8:30 AM.
- The Memorial Main Office and District Offices remain open throughout the summer. Office Hours are Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM -1:00 PM.
- Class placement will be made available on the Genesis Parent Portal in mid-August. An email, including how to access the portal, will be sent with the exact date later in the summer.
- Student supplies are being provided through a grant program. Students need to arrive at school in September with a backpack and earbuds.
