TO ALL VENDORS,

Thank you for your interest in vending at the 2017 World Folkfest in Springville, Utah. This year it will be a five day event, Tuesday,August 1st through Saturday,August 5th. Booth spaces will be available inside the gate of Spring Acres Arts Park located at 620 South 1350 East, Springville, Utah. Food vendors are off to the left of the path and a few on the right. Crafters will be along the fenced area on the right as you come through the gate.

ADVERTISING

We will be advertising the vendors in local newspapers, flyers and on our website. Each of these areas will show times of operation for our vendors.

DATES AND HOURS

We will be opening the gates early just for the public to visit the vendors! Tuesday, August 1st - Saturday, August 5th

Gates open at 6:00pm nightly and will close at the end of the show

ARTS & CRAFT  VENDORS

There have been some concerns expressed regarding the selling of imported items or items not made by the crafter themselves. We are asking for exhibitors that are selling HAND CRAFTED ITEMS. For example, if the “manufactured” towel has a significant amount of embroidery added to it, that would be considered handcrafted. However a button attached to it, is not considered handcrafted.

Please be considerate of crafters that take the time making these handcrafted items.

FOOD BOOTHS

A limited number of food booth spaces are available. All food vendors must have a Department of Health permit. No security is available for overnight, so all booth components should be stored away.

MOVE IN AND OUT DATES AND TIME

Your booth will be available for setup Tuesday, August 1st after 2:00pm. Vehicles are allowed inside the Arts Park in the Vendor area but MUST be out by 5:30pm. There will be no exceptions! You will be expected to tear down your booth at the end of the event on Saturday night. Please clean up all trash around your area.

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS IS JUNE 30, 2017 BOOTH CONFIRMATION

All vendors that have been accepted will be notified by July 1, 2016 (returning vendors may be notified prior to July 1, 2017). Vendors not accepted will be contacted and have the opportunity to be on a waiting list in case of cancellation. Also, checks will be returned at that time. NO checks will be cashed until all vendor selection is made. If your check is cashed you have been selected.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

There will be no refunds for cancellations after June 30, 2017

The World Folkfest is not requesting any commission on your sales. We hope that you will want to participate in all five nights; we will give preference to vendors participating all nights. PLEASE specify dates you will attend:  _

Food vendors need to get a temporary food establishment permit from the Utah County Health Department

Food Vendor 12’x12’ Space $95.00

AN ADDITIONAL, $20.00 deposit for vendor tags half of which will be refunded at the return of the tags.

Trailer 12’x12’ Space $105.00

AN ADDITIONAL, $20.00 deposit for vendor tags half of which will be refunded at the return of the tags.

ADDITIONAL, $20.00 deposit for vendor tags which half of which will be refunded at the return of the tags.

Food vendors will receive 5 tags.

Craft vendors will receive 2 tags.

Additional tags can be rented each night for $5.00 each per and need to be returned at the end of the evening.

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

I agree to abide by agreements stated in booth application and agree to hold harmless, waive and release any and all rights to claims and or damages against World Folkfest and Springville City Corporation. I am aware that Spring Acres Arts Park will not be responsible for any loss or damage of my merchandise. The Park gate will be locked over night, but security is not provided. I understand that I have the option to contact my insurance company and to ask them for a rider to my public liability policy, property damage and burglar insurance policies to cover me for this event.
