2 CULFORD GARDENS,
S.W.3.
27th November 1930.
My dear de László
I am very desirous of getting to the R.B.A. Exhibition,[1] but I have been so full up both with social engagements and with work that it has been impossible for me to do so.
It was a real regret to me that we could not get to the R.B.A. Banquet for the same reason.
My wife[2] and I unite in kindest greetings both to you and to Mrs. Laszlo, and to your sons. I hope that the son who had that bad motor accident is now completely recovered.[3]
Today I am busy all day at the Scottish Office & in Parliament. Tomorrow full up with ex-service
[Page 2]
mens functions afternoon & evening, and Saturday I have to go to Cardiff & speak at a big Scottish Gathering that night in Wales.
So we cannot manage to go to the Exhibition this week much as we had hoped.
Best of good wishes to you all Yours sincerely
Aylmer Hunter-Weston

[3] On 3rd July 1930, Patrick David de Laszlo (1909-1980) [9205], fourth son of Philip and Lucy de László, was involved in a motor accident in which the vehicle’s driver, Armorel Heron-Allen (1908-1930), was killed; Patrick himself was thrown clear of the car and sustained minor injuries.
