Upload Your Badges to Your Badge Backpack

1.  To add your badges to your badge backpack, you need to first download them.  Access your badges by going clicking on your name (in the upper right corner) and then on Preferences.  Next, click on Manage Badges.

               

2. Click on a badge.  Then choose to download the badge. It will download a .png file that is associated with your school email address.  This badge will only work for you.  The badge has metadata associated with it that is unique to you and your school email address.

     

3.  Log in to your Badge Backpack by accessing the link via the school course page or by going to http://backpack.openbadges.org/.   Once in your backpack, choose Upload a Badge.  Choose the badge file that you had downloaded from Moodle.

To return anytime to your Badge Backpack, use the link on the main course site or go to    http://backpack.openbadges.org/.  From here, you can view and manage the badges in your Badge Backpack.
