Chapter Digital Scrapbook

Instructions to Compete

Chapter Event

1 Entry per Chapter

Objective:

As many students as you wish may work together to create a chapter digital scrapbook.  Your scrapbook should be student created and cover your chapter’s year of Tome activities and events. Your digital scrapbook is a “Year in Review”.

Anchor Standards:

Method of creation for scrapbook: We want students to be as creative as possible in creating the chapter scrapbook.  It is a requirement that students use technology, but other than that their imagination is the only limit.  They may create a movie, a website, a Prezi Presentation, a published Google Slideshow or PowerPoint presentation, etc.

Scrapbook should include in any order:

  1. A variety of media that represent your chapter’s year of Tome activities (both locally sponsored and Tome activities).
  1. For a list of ideas of things to include, see the “Chapter of the Year” competition
  2. Media could include, but is not limited to:
  1. images
  2. movies
  3. infographics
  4. charts (membership, funds raised, participation in chapter meetings, etc).
  1. Brief captions/descriptions with images/infographics/videos/charts including dates/timeline of your year’s activities
  2. Any other personal additions to make it your own

Digital Scrapbook Guidelines:

  1. Must be created and delivered using technology.
  2. Some acceptable forms of technology include a movie, a website, an animation, a Prezi Presentation, a published Google Slides presentation, a PowerPoint presentation, a digital magazine, etc.

Method of Submission:

Advisers will submit entries through the online Canvas Adviser Group. Directions will be emailed to paid chapter advisers by the submission deadline.

All entries must be submitted by:

No later than February 1 - Entries must be submitted by the Chapter Advisor -- only 1 entry per chapter (4-5), (6-8) and (9-12)
