Ways to support the Jewish Nation & Israel as someone who is:

A non-Jewish friend:

Message, call, or text any person in your life you know who is Jewish sending a friendly/supportive message. (They might not even respond but you would be absolutely amazed at how far a simple message makes them feel loved, heard, and supported right now.)

Leave a friendly/supportive note that is SEALED on their door/desk. Maybe you are too shy to sign your name, but even an anonymous show of support would make them feel loved and protected by someone in the neighborhood.

Knock on their door and offer to help with any sort of local or personal cause. 90% of Jewish people I know have friends/family in Israel fighting, residing, or captured.

A non-Jewish resident in a Jewish community:

Pay attention to the businesses in your area that have lowered flags. Go inside or Write them a positive google review supporting their business.
Google any kosher restaurants in your area. EAT AT THEM. they’re usually amazing, the highest quality of meat. MOST jewish businesses are donating proceeds.
If you see someone in a store who is wearing a kippah, or something to show they are Jewish/supporters of israel. Say hello, smile, pay for their groceries, add some kosher candy in your cart to give to the kids! ;) (sorry moms).

A non-Jewish Follower:

Take 10 minutes out of your day to like, engage, or comment on a Jewish creator’s/ trusted news source posts/videos. Social media algorithms IS a thing and more interaction on the posts will get more circulation.
Comment something KIND and supportive on any of these creator’s videos. Their comment sections can look pretty dark and the positive comments weigh 10X more than the hate.
Re-share some of your favorite Jewish creator’s videos that are completely unrelated to the war. If you fell in love with their content and saw the beauty in a Jewish holiday, cultural tradition, etc: share this with your socials, friends, group chats who may have no exposure to Jewish culture.

A non-Jewish Parent:

Read your kids stories that discuss Jewish holidays/culture. Even if you personally have different religious views/holidays, it is OKAY to show your kids “we do this but some people do THIS”... It is okay for kids to see differences, it makes it normalized which is SO important. Even better- read them stories that show ALL religious and ethnic groups and support the fact that we all celebrate different holidays, eat different food.
Cook a Jewish recipe with your kids for fun and learn about the cultural significance if there is one.

Some Businesses Donate supplies, some donate profits, and some are too small to donate anything but they need to survive too!
