1. Government: Every community needs laws, otherwise there would be chaos.

• Murdering, stealing, and hurting others is not allowed. Treatments for murdering, stealing, or hurting others:

• Murder: Criminals will be sent to a pink-decorated room and receive psychological education from people who have been studying psychology
• Stealing: Criminals will first return other’s possessions, and write a book of reflection on their behavior. These will include the reasons of why they done this. The government will provide any help if possible. For example, if the criminal has been stealing money because of lack of money for supporting their home, then the government will distribute parts of money to the house.
• Hurting: Criminals will pay medical bills for the person, and write a book of reflection on their behavior. If there is a revenge story, then the two people who had conflicts will be separated to different houses

• People cannot be judged by gender, skin color, or nationality

• Job employments cannot include criterias about genders, skin color, or nationality
• Schools should allow all community members, despite of age, gender, skin color, or nationality

• Schools should not teach myths or conspiracies, and especially should not encourage practice of religions. Schools should teach students about the world in a scientific way.

• For example, schools should teach that the moon has craters, and there are no winds to deposit the surface, which makes the craters on the moon to stay the same, instead of teaching myths about Chang’e. Mythologies of old such as Cosmic Egg, Gaia, Unkulunkulu, and Pandora’s Box should not be taught either.

• Destruction of environment will be discovered at once. Sensors will be installed around the community, where any signs of littering, burning down trees, or overexploitation will be sensed and the person will be caught at once.
• Punishments for destruction of environment include beach cleaning for 5 consecutive weeks
• Citizens vote for a most suitable leader for the community.
• Laws can be proposed by every citizen to the government. The government will post the laws to the public on a post and citizens vote electronically to the ones they think make sense

2. Education: School is a way of preparing kids to be successful members of the community.

• Every person has to receive education in my society. Subjects every student has to study include:

• Literature
• Mathematics
• Science
• Physical Education
• Technology
• Arts
• The Arts of Being a Virtue Person

In my society, every person has to receive 12 years of education. The subjects include literature, mathematics, science, engineering, technology. art, physical education, and finally, a flex day. School days will be from Monday to Thursday. Friday is the day where students choose on the most interesting topic to learn about it in a more advanced way. It can be anything, such as bakery, computer science, video games, music, etc. Students will have to first attend 8 years of basics for each subject. After for the next 4 years, students choose 2 subjects that they have the most interest in learning advanced, and 1 topic other than the subjects that they want to expand. After that, they will choose their lifetime career and train themselves to be a professional member that can benefit the society. I chose this type of education because I want the system of education to be first detecting talents, next identifying talents, then developing talents, and finally, selecting their talent. I believe that every person has something that they are extremely good at. It can be anything, however we have too less choices for people to actually innovate their talents. In my society, there are infinite choices for classes in order for each person to find their own talents. With each person doing something that they love, the community will improve as a whole. Also, there will be no cram school, because I want all the citizens in the society to learn to be a inquirer. If they have something they don’t understand, they will have to stay after school and ask their teacher. One subject is the arts of being a virtue person. Each morning, students will each have a short story about an aspect of being a good person displayed on their desk, such as learning from mistakes, being honest, being responsible, etc. At the last school hour, the class will discuss what each person did well and what each person did something that needs to improve on. This will allow students to be reflective and improve as everyday passes by. Over time, every person’s behavior and thinking will be for other’s good. I firmly believe that this system of education will definitely produce better citizens and a society of better quality.

3. Family: Think about the families in your utopian community.

Families in my community will be neither matriarchal or patriarchal. The amount of kids each family should have is not regulated. However, each family has to know the amount of children they can afford to feed. Since all of the citizens have received education about being responsible, they will be the ones to take care of their own family. Each family owns a same sized house, in which they can design the inside however their want. When someone get’s married, they form a new family and own a new house. Neighbors will be random, in order for citizens to make friends that have different jobs, and have more ideas to innovate their own career.

4. Housing: Neighborhoods/Individual family dwellings 

In my society, one side of it will be full of houses to live in, while the other side is for working, learning, and relaxing. This will allow people to be focused on working and learning. Each building will be on a category of jobs, such as Technology, Education, Medical, Engineering, etc. There will be a building for relaxation and discussions too. I put relaxation in the same side as working, because I want working in my society to not only be working, but also following their dreams and achieving their goals. When people are tired working in a building, they can relax in a different building. I think this can cause higher efficiency in creating a better society.

5. Employment: Think about the jobs people must have to help your community function.

In my society, there are no limits to the type of jobs because I hope each person can find a job in which they can enjoy and love. For example, if a person is good at playing video games, instead of trying all ways to stop them, we should give them a place where they can learn how to code games and be a professional gamer who makes games for themselves to play. If a person is very good at speaking, they can work as a person who gives speeches to spread good ideas around the society. One problem in the society we are in is that we provide talent selection, not talent identification. Employment is closely connected with education because in my society each person learns to be a good person ever since they are young, which makes every single person to be responsible about “their” job and find their dream, instead of being limited in a few choices for employment. This way, the society will improve faster, with different people working for different aspects in the best efficiency.

6. Money: Purchasing goods and services, earning an income

In my society, each person has a credit card that states his/her personal identity. This card contains information such as the things you need for work, and it also contains money and personal information. This card can only be used by the owner, because it can tell apart its owner’s fingerprint and work when it senses the owner touching it. For school use, each desk has a scanner on the upper right corner, when the student puts their card on the scanner, it can open all the information they need for the class. I think this is a better way of purchasing things because it is more convenient, and is more safe.

7. Transportation: People getting to the places they need.

My society is divided into two sides. One side is for working, relaxing, learning, while another is for living during the night. To transport from one side to another, citizens go into a high speed elevator and use their card to be transported from one side to another. There will be no cars, and if you are traveling short distance, you can ride a bicycle to get around. This can prevent greenhouse gases from increasing in the atmosphere, and also let citizens exercise to be healthy.

8. Environment/Climate: Think about where you would have your community built.

My society will have varied weather as seasons pass by. This can allow crops to grow regularly. It can either be a rainy day, sunny day, or a cloudy day. However, there are no tornados, tsunamis, hailstorms, lightning, or any natural disasters that causes harm to the citizens. There will be regular day and night, and citizens will be safe and comfortable under this environment.

9. Recreation: Fun time and exercise.

Relaxation in my community is very important. Between periods of work and learning, people have time for a rest for their brain. One important thing that is different from the community I am in now, is that each building does not have both recreation and work offices. Each building is either for relaxation or for working seriously. The government does not need to control the amount of free time citizens have, because between 7am and 4pm, citizens distribute their time however they want. However, each day when they enter work, they have to set a goal for the work that has to be done today. This will allow them to improve faster. One problem you might think of is that citizens won’t finish the work they are supposed to do. However, in my society, they are supposed to find their dream job, which will let them have the passion to work, and not feel like they are working.

10. Technology: Ancient times, Modern, or Futuristic.

The technology in my society is more futuristic, because the educational and medical tools will be very advanced. For example, the credit card is scanned by desks, while desks are like computer screens. This can solve the problem of heavy backpacks and lost paper worksheets. However, for the first two years of education, students still need to learn to write by hand, so that the traditional shall not be forgotten.

In my flag, green represents the virtue of every single person, and the environment friendly condition of my society. The exponential graph symbolises that the society will improve over time, and that new innovations will result from my society.
