The French Gallery sent their representative yesterday to collect the picture [2825].

My portrait was just taking out of the fram [sic] and the glass was cleaned, I don’t want to have it revarnish [sic] if it is not necessary as I don’t like pictures to [sic] shiny I prefer it to have the appearance of an antique portrait
