Mrs. Ross’s Classroom General Rules
Be a Problem Solver, Not a Problem Maker.
- Accountability.
- Tardy Slips will be given for students who are not in the class unless specific permission has been given by the teacher.
- When the Bell has rung you are to be quiet. No talking without permission during class time; talking without permission can result in a work detention slip.
- Be prepared and ready for each class period.
- Come to class with everything you may need: books,pencils,paper, homework, etc. Not being prepared for class will result in work detention.
- Once the lesson has been taught you are to work only on the homework assignment or current project assigned for that class ONLY.
- You are to only work on assignments for my class in my classroom. Other classwork or homework for other classes is not allowed without permission. If you are caught working on something other than my classwork, a work detention will be given!
- No student is allowed to ahead on any assignment unless permission is given.
- ALWAYS have materials in class to work on your projects! If not I will give you work to do!
- Work until the bell rings. Do not pack up your belongings and just sit there. Continue working on work until the bell rings.
- All written work should include DATE(1ST LINE), CLASS(2ND LINE) AND FULL NAME(3RD LINE) IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER.The assignment number should be written in the top left-hand corner of your paper. Your work must be neat and legible--if not, it will be handed back to be re-done.
- Respect.
- Respect school property, facilities, and people’s belongings!
- Keep your desk and area clean and throw away your trash.
- Make sure and take all over your things with you when you leave the class.
- Accept all instructions from faculty and teachers!
- If a situation occurs that the teacher needs to be made aware of, please come to the teacher at any time.
- Consideration.
- Treat fellow classmates with Christ-like kindness!
- Listen without interruption
- While teaching, I should have your complete attention.Talking and distractions during class are disrespectful. It is disrespectful to the teacher and the students around you. The result will be a work detention.
- Honesty.
- Be accurate in all grading.
- All student grading must be done with a green pen with the name of the grader at the bottom of the assignment.
- Please pay attention to the assignment you are grading.
- Ask the teacher if you have any questions.
- Not grading an assignment correctly will result in your score being docked and could result in a paddling for cheating.
- ALL homework assigned must be completed or a homework slip will be given and a 0% recorded in the grade book. Even if only one problem is not answered a homework slip will still be given. Check your homework to make sure everything is answered.
- “Help” given to another student must ALWAYS have permission by the teacher.
- You do your work, not CHATGBT.
