This year’s conference will held in Stevenson Hall at Illinois State University.  If you’ve been to the Marriott location the past two years, we’re simply moving the conference two blocks west to the academic building where Wallace taught during his years at ISU.

The conference will be held in Stevenson Hall at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois.

Nearest Airport: Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) in Bloomington, IL.

Train: Amtrak stops in Normal, and their station is only four blocks from campus.

Hotels

The conference has group rates at the Marriott and Chateau hotels:

Group Rate: $129/night

Only two blocks from Stevenson Hall, the Marriott is easy walking distance from the conference.

Bloomington Chateau Hotel and Conference Center

Group Rate: $59/night

About two miles east of campus, the Chateau is an easy eight minute drive from Stevenson Hall.  They also offer free shuttle service to-and-from campus.

Committee Planning

Logistics

Logistic volunteers handle scheduling, catering, and other aspects of planning the conference days.

Scholarship

Scholarship volunteers review submissions, assign panels, and prepare the conference program.

Outreach

Outreach volunteers maintain the website, promote the conference on social media, and organize related events to help spread awareness of the conference.
