ELK Node Server

Connect your eisy/Polisy to the ELK M1EXP

The ELK PG3 node server allows two way communication between IoX on eisy or Polisy.

What you can do:

  • See the status of all ELK Areas, Zones, Keypads, Outputs, and Counters on IoX
  • See all system fault status from the ELk and Zones
  • IoX can tell ELK to speak any allowed words or phrases
  • Control any IoX device on, off or brightness levels from the ELK keypads.
  • Control a scene by putting a Zone or Output in the scene
  • Send notification to let you know about anything you desire
  • Works great in UD Mobile Android and iOS.

Detailed information

The ELK Node Server README contains all information about installation and usage. The Configuration Document has all information about configuring.

Main ELK Controller

Notify yourself about any system trouble:

Which uses the Notification -> Customization:

Know when someone has connected to program your system

ELK Area

Simple to Arm/Disarm the system from UD Mobile

Know when and who triggered and cleared the system

ELK Keypad

Know what user last used a keypad.  You can also change chime mode or send function keys.

Know when a button is pressed using control events.

ELK Zone

Control a Scene with a Zone.

Notice the above Front Door node has “Use Off Node” set to True.  This creates a separate off node, so the scene only receives an On command, then the scene can be turned off by a timer if desired.  You could also change “Send Off For” to “None” so Off control events will never be sent if you never need to know about off control events.

Send notification when zones change

This example uses a scene which turns on lights when it’s dark outside and the doggy door is open.  It adds a Notification node server node which also sends a notification to me.  The light levels are controlled by another program so they only turn on when it is dark.

ELK Thermostat

View and control thermostats on IoX

ELK Output

View and control ELK outputs on IoX.

ELK Lights

There are three methods to define how the node server handles lights allowing IoX to see existing lights defined on the ELK, or for the ELK to see lights on the IoX.  The details are in the Configuration Document
