X-Wing Summer 2018 Survival Kit
Updated with lists from UKGE! More lists incoming!
This document will include almost all the bits you need to print and play some 2.0 X-Wing games this summer. I will include all the spoiled 2.0 squads from FFG demos. Let me know on the FFG forums if you see anything new that can be added to this document. (direct message skotothalamos or reply to the thread here: https://community.fantasyflightgames.com/topic/275832-x-wing-summer-2018-survival-kit/
The damage deck section includes the proper number of each card. I have included them at a size that should fit in small card sleeves. The squads should fit in standard card sleeves. The dials should be the right size now.
I have not provided bases or range rulers or dice or tokens, as I expect you to have some of these already. Saw’s Renegades and the TIE Reaper will include some 2.0 bases for proxying, including the medium bases you’ll need for the U-Wing and Reaper. You may want to use a pen to put some marks on your 1.0 bases to accommodate 2.0 barrel rolls. Centerline acrylic templates are already available on ebay, or you can mark some cardboard templates. I leave this solution to you.
Presumptive rules changes worth noting (some of these may not be 100% accurate): I recommend checking out the extensive information here, but I will sum up:
Pilot Skill is now called Initiative
What was previously called Initiative is designated as the First Player. Whenever there are ties in initiative order, the First Player does their thing first.
Turn Sequence:
-Planning phase might now be Strategy Phase?
-Systems Phase (in ascending Initiative order. This is when bombs drop, shuttles launch, and cloaked ships decloak)
-Activation Phase (move)
-Engagement Phase (attack, or “engage”)
-End Phase (clear all “round” tokens: Focus, Evade, Reinforce, Disarm, Jam?)
Range 0: refers to the ship itself or ships it is touching. Attacks cannot usually happen at Range 0.
Barrel Rolls: https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/news/2018/5/9/a-few-maneuvers/
Evade tokens: Now convert a die to an evade result instead of adding an evade result
Force tokens: regenerate one at end of turn. Can be used to modify a single eyeball result to a hit or evade. Multiple Force tokens can be used per opportunity, unlike other tokens.
Jam token: Remove a lock associated with the ship or a green token from the affected ship.
Ion tokens: 1/2/3 to ionized a S/M/L ship. Ion is now a blue 1 straight. No action allowed except focus, then remove ion token(s).
Secondary Weapons: Missiles and Torpedoes do not get/grant range bonuses, but Turrets do!

Note: this list included Afterburners in the Bell of Lost Souls Video (vs Yavin Rebels) but did not include Afterburners at Worlds (for games against Boba-Joy and Luke/Wedge/Gold). I do not know if this indicates an adjustment in costs between when the BoLS video was recorded and Worlds, or if the Worlds lists were cheaper than the Yavin Rebels so this was pulled to keep points even. In any case, here’s an Afterburners to use as you see fit.
