Project Process and Payment Schedule
Step 1 (~1 week)
Consultation – On-site appointment to view space and advise on all client questions.
Step 2 (~1 week)
Outlining Scope of Work, Estimating Design Fees, Signing of Service Level Agreement, Retainer
Step 3 (~2 weeks)
On-Site measurements/photos with any potential tradesmen, and final criterion meeting, Finalizing Scope of Work and Design Fee, Receipt of first Design Fee payment and Commencement of project
Step 4 (~4 weeks)
Receipt of second Design Fee payment, Planning the Design, Rendering floor plans, elevations, and perspective drawings, Selecting and sourcing all fixtures/finishes/furnishings/fabrics, and Estimating the investment (4-6 weeks)
Step 5 (~1 week)
Presentation of Design concept, Estimates and Selections (furnishings/materials), Receipt of third and final Design Fee payment.
Step 6 (~4-14 weeks depending on custom items and workroom schedules)
Order Management - Collection of deposits, Placement of orders and receipt/inspection of items and Budget review
Step 7 (~1-? weeks)
Construction/Renovation Observation and Liaison to the trades
Step 8 (~1-? weeks)
Shopping for art and accessories, orchestrate Install Day, Furniture installation and arranging, Styling and Client reveal.
Step 9 (~1 week)
Deficiencies walk-through, create Punch List with Resolutions
Step 10 (~1 week)
Project closure meeting - Presentation of final invoices and return balance of retainer, Client Binder
